Nowadays the BC driving the 2nd batch K230UB really like to speed. Taken both from svc 100 & 174, they just speed like nobody business. Btw, there are heat coming from the rear seats. Cannot imagine few years down the road, the rear seats would become wat colour.

The new EDS apparently is used only by HGDEP, SLBP, BBDEP, ARBP WAB buses, BRBP 60,63 still at the moment shows the Terminal, Interchange on the front EDS.
Saw one bus of Sv 232 use this EDS format. SBS8122 /8123 of Sv 268 also use this EDS format. 8117/8119/8126 use the Terminal format.

Maybe you can write to SBST to tell them about it? Do not state the regos. Just state "Bus Captains of 2nd Batch Scania K230UB likes to speed". and then you should tell them what will happen to the seats.

Scania's press release posted by Scania N13CRB luver says that bodywork for these 500 new buses is by Gemilang Coachworks in Malaysia

Yes, but I heard that the new batch have a rather loud bus stopping bell.
I dont really hear when i sit the nearest to the BD and even stand bec i only hear a soft one like B10TL but softer on 8093E on svc 60.

(KMBs K310UD6X2.)pls do not use sth out of the topic.

A newer bus may have good looks. But its engine is not necessary as powerful as an old bus. Look at an LO3x which is so much more powerful than a B10TL.

Looking at the specs, it is quite clear. The VSO is actually more powerful than the LO3X.
However by virtue of the LO3X's fantastic torque, and the VSO's lack of low-end torque, coupled to the fact that the VSO's voith gearbox is another hindering factor and it's speed-limitor, you can guess the results.

Maybe we should give all the VSOs a ZF and it will be able to speed like nobody's business.

Actually the VSO's pick-up speed is not bad. It simply depends on the BC's pressure on the pedal. Once the VSO gets past the initial part, it's pick-up speed is almost comparable to the trident.

Wat you are writing? I not complaining? It is good right? Better than them driving the first batch which the driver drive very slow to take precaution of the bumper and the first batch also dun speed well.

apparently he hasn't seen B10TL's flying over traffic junctions and disappearing in seconds. =)

I will try to start joyriding when my Sec school mid year exams are over next Thursday. Where can I catch B10TL's flying over traffic junctions and disappearing in seconds? Then I will ride a Trident to compare.

Am I? I'm still talking about buses, chassis designation. It seems that its always that few regos which keep spamming in this forum.

Seriously, How many services under SLBP are actually using K230s ?
