Are you sure? The roads in CGA where the buses pass through have quite a number of sharp turns and sometimes humps too. I have a feeling that the roads there are quite narrow. I can't imagine what will happen to the K230 bumper if its used on CGA.
You understand something called "raise the bumper"?

No, because CGA tunnel is not bumper friendly. A possible service to get K230 is 145, it passes through CBD and Chinatown area.
A classic example was everyone speculating that double deckers were not able to enter Woodlands Interchange due to height constraint.
Now almost every SBS Transit bus we see in Woodlands Int is a double decker.
Sometimes it's never good to jump to conclusion too fast.

If that's the case, I hope that 27 will not get any K230s. I hope SBST will seriously consider WAB low floor buses that are low floor all the way to the back, like the Dennis Trident and B10TL, although they do not have a ramp to be a WAB.

I pray that every service pass by your house have K230.

185 get the WAB's first.
So unfair.
Service 99 and 185 are operated by 2 different depots so got to depend on depot's decisions and movements.
If you are to stay in Tampines/Pasir Ris areas it will be even more unfair. Buses serving those areas haven't even got a single new buses yet, they in fact still using those old and NAC buses.

Can can... you pedal the bus OK?
Seriously, there is a reason why the bus has longitudinal engines. That's for the technical experts to explain.
For now, SBST has given the green light to start training on airport services since they connect the elderly to other parts of Singapore, not to mention tourists. Just wait and see.
For AMDEP, 24, 53, 56 and 124 are the current potentials, though 124 may not likely get the WABs.

Sorry.... I misread the notice?
03/05 training was conducted at Bishan Int, apparently not all the selected BCs managed to attend the training so a make-up was conducted on 10/05 at AMDEP if I'm not mistaken. Notice for 03/05 K230UB training was removed immediately after the session ended..
Oh 2695H, I love you so much, seems that you know a lot of things we don't know and have wonderful ideas which seem to be very useful for ACME (only).

I consider myself quite lucky to stay in Bedok, being able to board those nice old buses before they are scraped.

If 24, 53, 56 and 124 are current potentials, what about 145? I have a feeling that 145 is also a potential.

AFAIK, 145 BCs are not WAB trained yet.

exactly. BCs can activate the raiser b4 entering the basement. but if some BCs like to play with the raiser, then when pax board the whole thing suddenly lower!

anyway, on the first day that the DD came to WRI, i went to see. whoa...it's almost juz nice leh! the height of WRI is slightly above 4.6m to 4.7m, allowing DDs of 4.44m to pass through!

Design a single deck WAB bus for me using your above requirement. Take it as your holiday homework. I would be very interested to see.
Sv 24 definitely will get the K230.
8449 was spotted on 24 today.
