I'd rather have more PH buses using MAN instead of Fuso/Isuzu. The latter can sometimes be quite $hitty.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:As well as SDs and Bendies !![]()

Not really , new Isuzu and Fuso buses are quite okay . Hino , needless to say , is one of the best for Japanese buses .Originally posted by iveco:I'd rather have more PH buses using MAN instead of Fuso/Isuzu. The latter can sometimes be quite $hitty.
it is a different story on homeland japan. their buses are cool!Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:Not really , new Isuzu and Fuso buses are quite okay . Hino , needless to say , is one of the best for Japanese buses .
But previously , Mitsubishi buses suck . They are really slow pokes of the road .Now their newer engines are much better .
Anyway fret not , altho there aren't much PH registered MAN buses (not including those coaches used for malaysia trips) , theres still Volvo . The Volvo B7R.
Some European coaches equipped with manual can sound really good when moving off. So far, the B7R , MAN 18.310 and older mercedes Benz buses sound monstrous.![]()

i stand correctedOriginally posted by C751B:Actually, Fuso is the branch of Mitsubishi Motors, which specializes in producing trucks and buses.
And as a tradition of the industry, bus manufacturers tend to built the own autobodies for their buses, except some chassics for export only.
They're different from the western bus manufacturers that allow other bodywork companies to built their own autobodies.
Thanks for correcting.Originally posted by ZYX2005:it is a different story on homeland japan. their buses are cool!
let me expand on ur post. the new isuzu are either the Isuzu ergaa or cubic bodywork. the ubic ons look like a renault Bolton (our SBS30P) front. so much so, i loved it on seeing it immediately. it is either a WAb or high floor bus model.
as for the Isuzu erga it sort of has a volgren like front all shd be WAB.
i would like to correct u that Fuso is a Mitshubishi bodywork brand. hence u sort of contradicted urself in he post.
on Mitshubishi, i fallen in love with their Aero Star bodywork . most are WAB. with diesel or CNG.
in terms of coach i have sat a Mitshubishi Aeroqueen. the ride is comfortable and yes they are slow. ouch.
as for Hino i will fully agree it is tha best. They have Hino Hybrid buses and nw their new product, the fueel - hybrid bus or FCHB Hino. 3 power source to drive the bus. a marvel in technology! and looking cool in Hino new gen rainbow bodywork.
on seeing any Hino hybrid bus near me whilst in japan i would just snap n snap. very smitten

That's the ComfortDelgro Bodywork bus!Originally posted by kitoshizc:SBS 8888D seen at Sgoon Int at 330pm With EDS displaying 100. Training was being given to drivers on the ramp for handicap
Guess I was right after all; they allocated a special Scania fitted with ComfortDelgro bodywork to SBS 8888 D as a demonstrator, just like SBS 9889 U.Originally posted by Oceane:That's the ComfortDelgro Bodywork bus!
correct me if i'm wrong but i tot Scania press release says all 500 K230UBs will be fitted with gemilang bodywork? maybe SBST asked for modification to be done to this special 8888 DOriginally posted by Oceane:Guess I was right after all; they allocated a special Scania fitted with ComfortDelgro bodywork to SBS 8888 D as a demonstrator, just like SBS 9889 U.
You will soon realise that 8888D is not that special after all...Originally posted by 201911:correct me if i'm wrong but i tot Scania press release says all 500 K230UBs will be fitted with gemilang bodywork? maybe SBST asked for modification to be done to this special 8888 D
Then it'd be Gemilang bodywork with special modifications.Originally posted by Y_Shun:Its not.
