yes, they were doing some familiarisation at serangoon interchange. i was there.
of cos, the BC's had the liberty of testing the eds and for us, the chance to take shots of services that will not run the SD WAB yet.

While many people flocked to Serangoon yesterday to have a look at the so called 'lucky bus' SBS 8888D, I was on site at Boon Lay instead. Saw SBS 8034B doing some trial run.
First time I saw it coming out at about 1325hrs, a female BC, who was assisted by a male BC standing beside the female BC, drove the bus, probably back to SLBP. It came back at about 1355 hrs and left with a male BC at the driver's compartment at about an hour later.

How come some of the words on the eds are chopped off? Digital cam also have this problem?

I've this feeling that the unit shown on Scania's website may be the prototype from Gemilang. Any kind soul can verify that and at the same time confirm if indeed CDGE supplied any bodykits for the K230s?

Looks like 174 and 100 is getting the buses first. I heard the buses will be deployed on the 1st of Nov but to bad: Camping at Jalan Bathera from 30 Oct for 3 days
No time to see the buses. -

the nickname of the bodywork style is called gemilang Caetano Copy. or gemilang Caetano for short.
cuz it really looks like the Caetano front. resourceful forumers may google Caaetano Hong Kong scania n find pics of the bus in question to compare.
