Well, for me: The Scania that i'm on (SBS8038R) left Serangoon at 5:25 pm and reached Ghim Moh at around 6:50 pm = 85 mins on 2nd Nov 07
There's a small jam along Beach Road and there's tons of pax. near Alexandra and PSA building that boarded the bus till full capacity to Commonwealth MRT Station
And this bus got a kneeling feature and Cruise Control -
I saw the route details on SBS8138K of svc 100 tdy on the side EDS.
Not a gd pic though

Saw 1 k230ub (SBS 8138 if i nt wrong) at Sgoon Int today with Sv100 route details on its side EDS
Eg: Upp Aljunied Rd(Split into 2 lines) 100 and the word was moving while the 100 just remains there -

To boon lay :
BOON LAY 174 (That is it) , instead of 2 lines, 1 line for the destination.
To New bridge Road :
New Bridge Road 174
I think this will work better.
It could be very easy for foreigners to think "Boon Lay New Bridge Road" or "New Bridge Road Boon Lay" are names for places. -

try not to take pics at inter.
i know some of the BCs, they say they got no objections abt taking pics on the buses at the inter, but not for the green man and the Transit Securities.
and i know some of the hardcore (and desperate) bus enthusiats had event went to the slope leading to SGH to catch the pic of the Scania @ NBR. Luckily on that day, the green man is a friendly one, theres another (that one dont play play) one who will confiscate your hp or camera if caught.
try not to take pics near the int area. do it probably at the junction or at the nearest bus stop.
ps: if you're using hp cam, same rule applies. but pray that you dont get caught. -

ZF 6 speed gearboxes are the default which bus manufacturers provide for bus companies. The EDS is really cheapo. Cool air is a Singaporean company with a factory in Defu and another big scale one in China
