  from simei AVE to Pheonix LRT
  
  1) Take bus31 transfer to MRT at Tanah Merah than alight at Eunos than transfer 966 than alight at pending LRT and transfer to LRT?
  
  2) Take bus31 transfer to MRT at Tanah Merah than alight at Jurong East than transfer 160
  
  3) take 31 to bedok and transfer 67
  
  4) take 31 to tamp transfer to Express518 alight at far east and cross over to take 190
  
  or other methods?

  near CGH? can take 5 and change to 190 at far east.

  take bus 31 to Tanah Merah mrt, take the train to Jurong East Interchange and take the middle-platform train to CCK. Then take the LRT to Phoenix LRT..

  Or u can take to Chinese Garden and change to 180. The frequency is better than 160 although you would have to cross the overhead bridge

  can take 31 to tampines ave 5 before the interchange, transfer to 168 to woodlands and change to 187.

  157 change 13/93 lor.. what else? change train sure more expensive

  How about if I started my journey from Boon Lay or Jurong East? Would MRT then bus be faster?

  157 takes around 50 mins to an hr to reach Braddell Rd with normal traffic conditions.
  
  For Jurong East, u can take 52 to MacRitchie Reservoir, transfer to 93 though the wait for 93 is long.
  
  MRT then bus to Braddell Rd will be slightly more ex and it will take around the same time as above.

  Just to correct one thing, 157 goes Jurong East Ave 1 but doesn't pass by Jurong East Ctrl or Jurong East MRT station. It goes to Bukit Batok instead.

  Cheapest:
  154 (BNL) then 105/153 at Jln TPY
  157 (BNL) then bus to the HQ
  105 (JE), all the way but long journey
