  KNNB.. i counted 29 seats on that bus only. So pathetic. These new fangled buses getting fewer and fewer seats. Soon buses will have no seats. Stand all the way like some old India TATA lorry-converted buses.
  
  I know there have been a lot of rants about UD's going around SMRT routes, but at least there are guaranteed 41 or 42 seats on the UD's. I don't quite like the UD's either, but at least I know I will have higher chance for seats.

  I rode this bus all the way from JE to Queenstown. He turns extremely slowly. I doubt its timing. Because I frequently take 51 from JE and other drivers drive much faster. Of course this might not be the real reason, but I think this is the most reasonable hypothesis.

  I guess it may not necessarily be a bad thing. The step height difference is much smaller and this might encourage people to move in.

  Actually, if u notice carefully from the interior shots, SBST issnt really trying to promote passengers from standing anywhere after the first few steps. Look at the missing handles from anywhere after the steps. On the other hand, lances do have handles all the way till the last row of the bus.

  It's not fair to compare the Volvo B10M and K230UB. The age gap between both buses are quite big. K230UB of course a new bus has to be better and more comfortable . Glad you enjoyed your ride.
