Ahh then I think I remembered which service I sat on a O305. Think it was 333 or 334.Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:The 0305's were mostly found in HGDEP and AMDEP Services , and i don't think theres SLBP at that time , its JRBP (Jurong Bus Park)
Smoothest sounding engines SBS ever had for its double decker before the air conditioned days.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:Have you ever taken this bus before ? This is the best DD bus among all the buses so far. It's my favourite NAC DD bus of all time. No other NAC DD buses come close to beating it. Not even LO 2 axles.
In fact with no in-built speed control, these were the fastest in terms of acceleration and top speed attained. Not to mention the suspension offers a very comfortable ride.Originally posted by OldBussy:Smoothest sounding engines SBS ever had for its double decker before the air conditioned days.![]()

(Forgot if it was one of the Tampines services or the Jurong services, anyone englighten me whether the MB O305s belong to SLBP or BNDEP?)

Was O305 ever on the Tampines TL services 291/292/293?
Yup...... still remembered that before 1998 (the year in which many trunk services turns from PAC to FAC services) the following services used LO2x JRBP) and O305s for their NAC fleets - 154, 97, 51 and 197 which if I am not wrong, 30 is the only sv with VO2x and LO2x combination then......Originally posted by MingFreeman:154 yes.......leyland and merc models are used on this service.
Same for 197 and 97.
for LAs in 291, still have memories of 5613 serving 291 with blue colour SBS in-house ad......Originally posted by Volvo Olympian:Nope , only the Atlanteans , VO2x

293 used to have LAs when it was not serving St 71, DDs went to 291 when 291 serves St 81. 291 has no LO2x, ith as VO2x and VO3x. + 1 VSO cameoOriginally posted by bus555:I dont think so.
For Townlink 291Used to have LA, LO2X (Not sure), Vo3X
For Feeder 292No Double Decker (Maybe because of St 22 and St 11)
For Townlink 293No Double Decker (Dunno why, Maybe of St 71)
