Lorong 1 Geylang Terminal will be demolish in 2 years time

Heard from reliable sources.The new proposed Terminal will be @ Stadium Link.Reasons are no shelterway for alighting passengers.Hazards for buses when reversing(Taxis & Private vehicles just zoom off w/o giving way),Basically i agree that mixing with private vehicles at Terminal will pose many problems.

The terminal should be gone for good. Even the BC doesn't have a proper toilet facilities there.
Making a trip to the stop where eu board the buses also hazardous , anytime can fall down if not careful , also vehicles coming in and out can pose a safety hazard . -
Thats great. It will provide better links to the stadium area. Currently, its so inconvenient to get there, with only 16 and the good-luck-waiting-for-it 11.

when i first stayed in geylang. i din even realised that was a terminal.all de while i tot it was a deserted carpark wif deserted buses

Actually, I find this old bus terminus quite dull. A big and improper carpark surrounded with lots of trees. 11 - Maybe would start from Stadium Link and loop at Kallang MRT, or literally take Bus 11 (WALK) la =).
175 - Terminating at Eunos Int might be a good bet
853 - I sense a major route overhaul here. Circle Line might be coming up soon and it has more or less duplicated the MRT route (Yishun to AMK, then Lorong Chuan to Serangoon to Potong Pasir). I guess it will be an expressway service (SLE->CTE->PIE->KPE) to Upp East Coast.
If they remove BSS 853 i will kill them

961, 980 and 985 - Sims Place (+1 or 2 stages) or Eunos (+ 6 stages), but then again, it would be duplicating 67's route after Kallang. -

I agree that Lor 1 Geylang terminal should be torn down or demolished given the conditions of the terminal.
11 is most likely to be demolished due to the popping of an MRT station there, plus an extended 62 if it is implemented.
I hope that 62 can stop there. Punggol - Stadium Front
853 - Yishun to Upp East Coast on all days.
961 - Woodlands to Stadium Front
980 - Sembawang to Stadium Front
175 - Clementi - Sims Place -
Lor 1 geylang ter built more than 30 yrs ago, now the facilities then become inadequete & old fashioned compared to others with this type of size. so of course will have to be demolished one day, just a matter of time.
once Stadium CCL station opens svc 11 useless already, bcos peeps can just take train from there to where they stay, no need go Kallang MRT anymore. maybe the route get scrapped together with opening of (?) new interchange -
