Dear all,
Sorry again yah .. Again for Vivocity and Queensway Shopping Center. I will be staying at my relative's place at Toa Payoh, wonder which is the best way to go to vivocity and queensway SC?
For vivocity, other than the route via Jurong East, i gather that the mall is just near the Harbourfront MRT station. Is it within walking distance from the MRT Station?
My planning is as follow
From Toa Payoh >> *** Please advice *** >> Queensway
Queensway >> Bus 93 >> Vivocity
Vivocity >> *** Please advice *** >> MRT (any) ( or is it Vivocity is very near Harbourfront?)
MRT (any) >> Raffles Place MRT Station >> Merlion
Raffles Place MRT Station >> City Hall >> Singapore Flyer (Can advice any shopping mall there? Is Funann near there as well?)
Anyway, thanks in advance yah. Apology for asking a lot :p
regards,
Eric

I would advise you to go to Vivo first. from Toa Payoh by my favourite bus service, 143. You can have a rather panoramic view of the City on a Double Decker 143. then head to Queensway Shopping Centre by 61, 93 or 100. After that board 33 from Queensway Shopping Centre to Redhill MRT and change MRT to Raffles Place to see the Merlion.
Or if you are going from Toa Payoh to Queensway, you can take 153 directly to Queensway Shopping Centre. IKEA located a few minutes away from Queensway Shopping Centre is another recommended place to visit. It is a home furnishing chain with two outlets in Singapore (other at Tampines). do visit IKEA, the restaurant food there is really awesome. I miss meatballs haha. Also, vivo is located right beside HarbourFront MRT so all you need to do is walk. You can walk to the Merlion from Raffles Place MRT. Then you can walk to Funan via Fullerton Hotel and the few historical landmarks like the Old Supreme Court and Asian Civilisations Museum, quite a heritage route. cut thru via High St to Funan. From Funan, you can walk to the Singapore Flyer from Funan via Citylink Mall and Esplanade or you can take 195 from Supreme Court at High St and walk towards Marina Centre Terminal, there you will see The Singapore Flyer in the background.
The best time to go for the Singapore Flyer would be in the evening.
Have a pleasant stay here.
Dear bro SBS9888Y,
Thanks a lot

Sorry wrong thread xD
Anyone knows what is the fastest route from Woodlands Regional Interchange to Sunshine Plaza at Bugis?
And if i take 161 then change over to 147, then how long will the combined journey be?
It's urgent,i need to reach there before the printing shop closes.
If i don't want to take MRT? Is there any other route?
Or if i chose to follow the 161 --> 147 route? how long will it be?

U can take 31 to Parkway Parade and then transfer to 36. Alight at Temasek Ave B04 Opp The Ritz-Carlton. Walk to Singapore Flyer through the ECP flyover.
Estimated travelling time: Around 45 to 50 mins assuming ECP is smooth flowing.
Or U can take MRT to Bugis. Then, take service 133. Alight at Temasek Ave B04 Opp The Ritz-Carlton. Walk to Singapore Flyer through the ECP flyover.
Estimated travelling time: Around 36 - 42 mins. assuming that roads along Raffles Blvd are smooth flowing. lol.
Have a fun day. :)

It will take around 30 mins to get there. However, 31 doesn't go to Marine Terrace. It utilises the main road - Marine Parade Road - and the nearest stop is opposite Blk 57.

Combination of SBS Transit & SMRT bus services. Hope that would help people who want to ask for route. The official one.
Guys, i need some help here.
Start point:Hougang Central Int
Destination: SAFRA Tampines
The current route I have is to take 27 from the Interchange to Tampines Ave 1 Blk 147 and walk for about 6 minutes. But I'll be carrying a 30 pound bag with me. Is this the best way?
