2) 410/52 to Bishan Int, transfer to 59, then transfer to 9/19/89 at Loyang Ave

Take 52/410 to Bishan Int or 53 to Bishan Rd then transfer 53, then transfer to 89 or walk to Pasir Ris Central bus stop to catch the permstaff bus (assuming you are Tekong permstaff going there in the morning) to SFT. Catch the 0730 Penguin to ensure that you aint late (again assuming you are permstaff starting work at 0800hrs).

I think 2 and 3 is fast. Or you can take 52/162/410 > 58 > 89
If only 58 has a good frequency. I'm sure you will reach there faster than the 2nd option.
i'd choose 3. and stick to it. ![]()
you could take 855/851/852 to khatib and take 39. but it's kinda long.
but then again, morning very fast on expway, we all hope. ![]()

Hi guys & gals...
Please help me on this one.
My house is at Tampines Central 7 and from April I will have to make daily trips to Ngee Ann Poly in Clementi Road. I have been wondering how I should go to NP.
Apparently I have a few options:
1. Walk to Tpines MRT. Take MRT to Dover/Clementi and take connecting bus.
2. Take 34(one stop), 23 till Jln Kolam Ayer, 966 till Jln Toa Payoh, then 985 then 75.
3. Take 69 to opp TP, then cross road to take 23, and onwards follow 2.
And other suggestions. I don't mind changing bus coz i would most likely buy bus concession. But I would like the fastest possible routing. Is there other options? And what is the fastest route?

If u are late, u should take 1st choice

So that is the fastest way?
But that means I have to pay for both bus and train concession. That amounts to $95~ thereabouts... Is there a cheaper alternative for bus? Okokie i rephrase... What is the fastest alternative(by bus).

Lolx no need to buy train concession la.

Need. Tampines to Clementi is about $1.80 one way. Both ways it will be $3.60. Given a 22 day schooling month, that equates to $82.80. Train concession in this case is worth it.
Then I would also need to buy bus concession for the Dover/Clementi to Ngee Ann and back too.
But of course I would like to spend only $50~ for one concession(in this case, bus). So what is the fastest journey routing(by time) from Tampines Ave 5/6 to NP?

I know that. But the shuttle is only in the morning for a short period(7a.m to 8a.m) and my course timeslot might be in the late afternoon, thus I need a way by public transportation(best by bus though) to NP from Tpines.
take the train.
leave long bus rides for after school.

59 cannot xfer 151/154/985. No common bus stop. Must xfer 5 or 57 1st. I think jayh's way is the fastest. But the waiting time for so many buses willl be crazy, esp during off peak hours.

oh yeah. with a bus pass it makes sense to change to 5 then!
if not just walk to trellis towers from toa payoh.

Ah yoh yoh my place doesn't have 5/58/59 either... I think I'd just stick with 34 and 23(till jln kolam ayer), walk to macpherson road, and take 151/154... Btw thx for helping folks...
Oh by any chance, is taking 72 then changing to 74/151 an option as well?
