I think this thread would reach 80 pages in maybe... 1 month? There is seriously too many faults with buses because they age as the days pass by... so I don't think this thread is necessary because the maintenance team from both Bus companies would do the necessary changes to faulty parts and thus there isn't a need to state it here because mechanical faults happen naturally to any piece of equipment.Originally posted by Scania N113CRB luver:Report anything you find faulty with any bus.

Erh.. No need report things such as , "Aircon outlet one spoilt , cannot control " .
Report things such as , "Bus was vibrating excessively when speeding" as well as "Bus has no aircon throughout."
In short , please refrain from reporting minor issues . -

1. I took SBS 9350G on Service 65 recently and found that this bus has a rather common problem. It wobbles uncontrollably whenever the bus is moving. I can feel it for myself from where I was sitting at the bottom deck of the bus.
2. Today I took another problematic DD. Rego is SBS 9144K on Service 168, which was SBS 9177R cameo. Two things I noted:
a) Whenever the bus accelerates, I hear strange whistling sounds.
b) The bus had a tendency to make some loud noise whenever the bus is coming to a complete stop (same situation as like what I previously told you about the problem on SBS 9035S. I think AMDEP fixed it already).
So what is AMDEP trying to do with their LOs? No proper maintainence? -

TIB592R- No air (as in moving air? yeah) coming out of outlets. -

SBST will take action if public feedback about their buses,while SMRT especially AMDEP didnt heck care.Some of the SLs requested to change all fabric in to PVC ones till now nothing had done.AMDEP excuses not enough technicians where most of them are half-hearted and lazy

Im fed up with TIB1225U . This bus cleanliness and hygiene is really gone case . Not much litter is seen tho , but the bus is ridden with roaches . 1 or 3 roaches is fine , but the numbers i saw is absurd .
Previously , my friend and i took this bus from HBR Int . When the BC opens the doors , i see around 10 roaches running about , scrambling to find cover .
The problem still persists when i took the bus today . Just before the articulation section , there are 2 roaches on the windows , one medium sized , another is considered big. The medium sized one was hiding in a corner . Then the opposite side, i presume there are roaches as well , as there was a girl saying "Eee .. Theres a roach running by!"
Hope SMRT do something with this bus.

307 used to be like that too.... recently gone liao although the fabric seats still in bad condition but at least no more cockroaches liao... now is 190 buses start to have cockroach.. Spot on . The roaches hide inside the windows ledge . I assume they are breeding there as roaches love dark and tight corners.
But these kind of roaches aren't those roaches we see at rubbish dumps . It has a brown strip in the middle of the body. It looks more like a beetle than roach.

Something went wrong with SBS 9544P recently?
I heard strange noises coming out of the bus. At traffic lights, when the bus is stationery, the BC keeps revving the engine, presumably trying to stop the strange noise from appearing. It failed however. -

That sound on Volvo buses means the air level inside the bus is below its standard level. That needle is VERY VERY sensitive. Quite a number of volvo buses have axle problems, when accelerating, produces a loud hum that increases in pitch with the speed. Problem is only applicable for Volvo made buses.
