I together with my wife,2 kids,1 niece age 11 and my mum board this bus @ Sims Ave opp Eunos Stn.1st my niece tap her card,My 1st daughter whos ezlink with my wife and me together with the 2 years old daughter which i carry board the bus when the BC talked in a sarcastic manner "Hallo the gal need to pay you know,Not free you know" so i told him behind my wife will tap for her too.So this stupid BC keeps on thinking that my 1st daughter who is 6 years old never tap her card.Upon reaching Kembangan Stn he repeat according to law your daughter must pay.Thats when the time my wife was so pissed off and told him she did tap for her and said "I would not argue for a pathetic 55 cents pls" and the BC say Thank You and keeps on repeating the law.Thats when the time i barged in and say i'm a bus driver too and he need not have to repeat all over again.Again paiseh but reluctant to apologised he just keep on saying Thank You.Now i knew the reason why many BC was beaten by passengers.From my experience in service line we sometimes have to be flexible in order to survive.From his style of jerky driving/stopping i can sense thats he's new in this line.Hopes this will be a good lesson for him

some BCs (esp SBST) stubbornly follow rules to the dot (usually those bad att. ones). but some BCs told me that even though its a "policy" to check pass if students paying cash, confiscate the pass etc., they dont really follow it (usually the frendlier ones).

Got this old aunty board the bus . She board the bus , but never put any coins or tap card. The SL ask her put coins or tap card , the aunty reply " Aiya buey yao kin larh (aiya nvm larh !) . The SL reply , " Simi buey yao kin ?? (What nvm ??!) " Dhen the aunty heck care and go sit down , the SL also " aiya heck care" . -
Theres once i only got a dollar with me and my trip home is more then that. Then i tried my luck and put a dollar and the BC asked me where im heading. KNN. Then i paisei and anyhow boom a place where is a dollar worth.
In the end i took cab n pay for credit home. NB.

Got one smart aleck called ??? Saravana vinod on Sv170, his name too long i cant remember. People dont pay cash also duno why like to ask students to take out their card to let him see, then its like he never really even see then say ok liao :s Only he got guai lan probs, other 170 BCs quite ok leh

I remembered on 2005 when I rode a DAF on 925 and I accidentally dropped $1 in the coinbox while looking for the 55 cents. The BC could not do anything but drop the $1 in. I ended up paying 45 cents more but it's ok, as long as I got my ride home.

Do bus drivers get incentives if they really check if people pay the correct fare for their desired destinations?
