But then again, the CItaros are too wide to be deployed in SG or AU, hence the purchase of the O500s by Transperth.Originally posted by 201911:the guy who added the crap abt B7RLE coming to SBST is a spammer, u can see if u go look at history of the page. no proof he's the guy who talked abt Citaro Merc though, that person signed up and hide his IP address
Mercedes-Benz O530 Citaro G Wheelchair Accessible Bus (WAB) [LED Display]
Currently, SBST has ordered 100 buses to replace its old fleet. The new 500 Scanias is still intact with the order. This project will ensure SBST will have high standards and the public will be sastisfied. This is will be Singapore's first public bus with a Toilet. The buses will be in the fleet in the beginning of 2009.
Another suprising news informs that SBST will convert all its current Leyland Olympians to non-airconditioned due to the major losses of 30% in the third quarter of the year 2007.
SBST has planned to merge with SMRT but SMRT has rejected because they knew they would earn lesser than ever before.
SBST is going to sell its current services number 2 10 97 98 99 100 30 11 154 174 175 185 198 to SMRT for a huge sum of $100 million dollars. It is expected it will happen in the first quarter of 2008.
Now to its current state, the following plans of future SBST is:
- Sell North East Line
- Sell the selected Services
- All buses are Wheelchair Friendly
- Merge with SMRT for better earning money and improve service standards
- Frequency of buses reduced to 5 mins
- More lucky draws for the public
- Insert Toilets found in buses.
- Increase fares by 20% in 2008
- Singapore Bus Fondation (Where people can donate)
- All buses will be GPS enabled.
- Future buses in each seat to contain a 14" LCD TV
SBST is currently removing its current TVs and inserting 20" LCD TV in each seat for better view.

sry if i'm late asking this , is this true ? [/b]
Insert Toilets found in buses?? That would be very very interesting, but I think that's impossible at all, most of the bus companies would like to make more seats or standing area to increase more capacity instead introduce the insert toliets~~Originally posted by choww:What do u think?![]()
