I have been watching this argument for a long long time. It really is not nice to come to a forum to see a few members arguing over simple issues. It takes two hands to clap. This argument is a lose lose issue. No one is going to gain anything out of this, so why not, stop arguing and do whatever you came to this forum to do.

... That a Vice-Principal of a Certain School has advised to students to avoid service 28 and 67 and take the MRT instead when returning home. For the COMFORT of other commuters who have to tarhan these packed buses
. Aren't students also commuters? 
Comment: Subsidised Train fares and feeder transfers are free hor? Students still have to pay for their own transports fares although they are subsidised. And 67 is the fastest way to CHIONG to Tampines Int.
His Solution: Write to SBST and SMRT to beef up the frequency.
My Solution: Introduction of 28A and 67X
I love dreaming of 28A and now 67X Will continue dreaming till something is done about it.

I thought that I saw a Volgren bendy at Bedok Reservior.
If I did not see wrongly, TIB 0986M had the three metal parts that cover the front of the bus (giving the impression of a smiley bendy) removed. It now looks more like a Volgren bendy (as mentioned earlier). -
