I do understand that. Inaccuracy is sometimes caused by the sudden change of road conditions, so one cannot predict really well when a bus will come. They just have to wait for it to come.

Sv32's frequency for PM Peak was around 26 mins and 30 mins after 10pm.
S32 operating on Special7 schedule - 9 buses including the 1 S shift doing 11 xover. Reduction of 4 buses from the usual Sunday schedule.

Saw a notice infront of the control office and saw that two new services will be launched soon.
They are 550 and 569 (From Punggol and Sengkang to City Area)
Either Premium or CityShopper Services
Also saw that Sv 87(beside 62) to undergo WAB Training
(Now the fleet is fully DD, unless they want to add the Scania as fleet addition?)
550 and 569 Shld be the new Premium Services . ![]()

Do note that SBST is trying to make all BCs undergo WAB trainings from now onwards to prepare them for the future. Having undergoing through WAB training now doesnt really mean that they will get WAB buses.

17's frequency can still be considered good... go compare Services 3 and 17 at Pasir Ris Int. 2 Service 17 = 1 Service 3. On Wednesday, I waited for Service 3 for a very long time, and in the process 2 Service 17 came; in the end Service 3 (SBS 3669C) was full all the way to the door plus some people were left behind. Next time I'll just take Service 17...

Service17's frequency is way too good, to justify that it took out SBS3719S out from its perm fleet 1year+ ago. Even during off peak hours, at Pasir Ris Int, confirm plus chop chop, out of all the trunk services other than Sv 88, 17 is the fastest to arrive. And yes, 2 Sv17 buses = 1 Sv3 or Sv12 bus. To compare, on average, it would take 3 Sv17 buses to come before a Sv21 bus comes ![]()
Sv17 BCs are to be praised for this frequency ![]()
... that there is SBST bus stop plate without service number at the bus stop opp Bangkit LRT Station (Bt Panjang Ring Rd) and the bus stop after Zhenghua Pri Sch (Fajar Rd).
I foresee an amendment for Service 3N as the inter-town $1.50 fare doesn't make sense for Bt Panjang neighbourhood town since there are only 4 pathetic bus stops in that area.

In the early days, it was 88 that had poor frequency. How times have changed.

The darts can't do 68 anymore. Something big happened after SBST put darts cameo on 68. We shall not see darts on 68 anymore.

I would bet they would be hard-pressed finding buyers.

Really ?
Last time, some 242 BC did turn right but some they go straight, just like 174,198,157, etc. I think it's probably depends on situation if there are many vehicles wanting to turn right, the BC just go straight...

Is it they follow the 502 route? Then it skips one stop?
Originally posted by stooper:Is it they follow the 502 route? Then it skips one stop?
No la, they follow the Svc 30, 240, 249 route to BNL. Last time they do this when they are late but now it is every trip.

Sometimes they have to do 2 trip continuously so must save time for resting inbetween the 2 trip
