Imo, 242 MUST change its route...

Ya.. I dunno whether u find that the Vo3x seems to have 2 types of seats. Some with 3 sides to screw, some only got 1. LO3x only got one type?

I've seen 3 screws on some LO3x seats too. Looking at the 2 screws at the corners, I believe all LO3x seats were just single screw originally. Maybe SBST added the extra screws to prevent the seat back from being bent and broken.

Still no decision made.
The new air-con outlet in most of the LO3x and some VO3x got the word "SBS" printed on it.

Eh, the new aircon outlet has been in existence since 2003? First appeared on Mk4s......and they had the SBS word (in SBST font) on the aircon outlet since then.

Some of the VO2x and VO3x backseat covers are different. The backseats are not thinner and I think they got 4 screws. With 2 at both sides. Here are other screw used on other seats..

Red ducts..

I'm not sure whether this is really true but through close observation. a bunch of LO3x' from Service 97 would park overnight at Jurong East Interchange.
Again, this is from observation.

Yes it is true. For Boon Lay int, you would see VO3x from svc 199 doing overnight parking.

Overnight parking started on the night of Sunday 31 Oct 2004 for Tampines, Jurong East and Boon Lay. The 2nd batch was from the night of Sunday 8 May 2005 for Hougang and Bedok. Toa Payoh started on the first week of Feb 2006 while Pasir Ris started in late Jan 2007
The following constitutes the services that has buses parked overnight at the respective interchanges:
Pasir Ris: 12 15 17 58 403 518
Tampines: 8 10 18 19 29 31 65 68 81 291 293 576
Bedok: 9 14 30 32 33 35 40 66 168 196 222 225 228 229
Hougang: 27 51 74 89 107 113 132 147 151
Toa Payoh: 8 26 31 88 90 139 142 145 155 157 238
Jurong East: 51 66 78 79 97 98 105 143 197 334
Boon Lay: 182 192 193 199 246 249 251 252 254 255 257
Some may be split shift duties, some full day. Duty codes start from number 81. Highest duty number i've seen is a 95E of BN 31, and 94P of BN 66. (notice these 2 services have overnight parking at both terminating points)
Oh! No wonder that Mk-II which I wanted to take a year ago at Boon Lay on 252 never came out after waiting for 45 minutes +.
Thanks, but here lays a strange question, how would they refuel? go back depot first, refuel and come back to int or park first and refuel the next day?

Go back to depot first to refuel and then come back to park. I've seen several BNDEP overnight parking timesheets indicate that there's a refuel before coming back to the interchange and the BC goes off duty thereafter. There's no refuelling the next day - the BC immediately starts to go on service after he has signed in.
