  but at least posters can be put up one week ago. Press release can be release one week ago like SMRT. Anyway, now the impression is that all the services are premium already as newspaper alway mention that. Even it is for niche market, they still have to advertise mah.

  Wouldn't any form of advertising still be better? I believe a flow of information to the public would be welcomed (save price hikes!). After all, lack of information on a good or product is a major contributor to imperfection of markets.

  SBST still need to do up the posters (ok shenton way premiums only got that standard poster), engage contractors to print the posters as well as the bus stop stickers and getting them to paste.

  I find putting up the week before is quite normal given that they had some advertising about their services beforehand. In addition, its their norm to put up details the week before commencement.. not the first day you know them anyway..

  I don't think the comparison made with reference to rolls royce is fair. Rolls Royce is considered very much more a luxury good compared to normal Sedan Cars. I prefer to liken the premium bus services to a entry level mercedes, and entry level mercedes or infact mercedes still actively advertise their products.

  I guess it's not all that important. It's just pasted there for courtesy. With soaring operation cost, and a large number of buses to take care, its inevitable that such minute details are left out/not considered for updating.

  SBS9845X Led panel have been spoiled for quite sometime. the nokia LED ad really wasted. cant see at all at night. Pay so much money for the ad but in the end did not light up at all. actually wonder why Nokia wrap the whole bus black, without any wording, except for the LED panel part. Should just buy the LED panel ad space mah.

  i agree. no point placing an LED ad with black background. i still like the pioneer tiger beer LED panel ads. its more eye catching and brighter.

  Haha i remembered the 1st time i saw this ad on a VSO at Hougang, i was thinking, what is this ad...why all black de?

   

  Until i saw the small Nokia logo near the end of the LED

  Weird but maybe so it captures attention?

  That is true if you use:
  1. cash on one and ezlink on the other
  2. cash/ezlink on 851 and Season Pass on 12.
