  Ya, btw the A/C was super powerful that water starts to leak.  SBS 8035Z also got a different sound too. So fast, it is the only K230UB with this sound.

  i think more like the drivers never switch on the system that enables the bus to be tracked. sometimes this happens when they are in a hurry and forget to switch it on, the the timings go crazy.

  The pannel was not accurate all while, all timming ridiculous, arriving say 10 mins, 10 mins say arrive, past bus stop 5 mins still arriving, somemore, some chinatown ones still have trains timming somemore

  these panels only give very rough estimates of timings. for eg, when svc100 arrives at e bus stop, the panel at that bus stop does not show "Arr"(Arrived). instead it shows other things like 4mins etc. sometimes, weather conditions could disrupt signals and show ridiciulous timings.

  Even new buses BNDEP also will allow them to leak, SBS2745Y, dm3500, not so old model, started to leak like hell at last row.

  amdep done something to 8083J...now it sounds like its being kicked down, even when driven by slow drivers. Think they tuned the gearbox is such are way that the gears are longer (in terms of time), and its more powerful.

  These bus timings are SUpposed to be accurate as quoted by LTA, wat would pple tink if they see a bus arriving 1.5hrs later, cmon on, in SG, city centra area smemre, it makes a mockery of the bus arrival timings, the timings are more that for Tour buses lol

  Cityshopper has concessionary fare travel! / i love 576 and 579.

  Wow i din knoe if u r a valid  student concession card holder,  you pay juz 1 dollar for a faster ride to town.
  
  Instead of taking say feeders bus 293 then MRT (add squeezed in MRt to this ) , waste 1 hour go town, you could pay 1 dollar and hop on Cityshopper 576 (East of tampines) and reach Far East in 21 mins!

  For me i frequnet on Cityshopper 576 and 579, my fav services as they are fast from tampines to town very good for me who go tampines often.

  I would often gripe about 518 as it is always make me stand and i find the route not so direct.  So everytime 576 or 579 appear i juz take without hesitation. got gurantee seat mah.

  Huh ? How come u are not aware of that ? CS do have concession travel =)

  But sadly, the nearest one that I can take is svc 580, which will be withdrawn soon =(
