yes it's normal. but it's not normal for people to see them on the buses still..
well, whatever i would want to say has been said by n4l. do think about it.

Refer to press release thread. they cut total run time by 5min
TIB1238H now don't have dress rims. Think was still there when i took it two weeks ago.
Now the bus is - Ugly front + ugly wheels.
Pardon me.

He's just stating that he saw a PIW inside, so what? It's not an everyday affair for some to see PIWs on board. You're making a mountain out of a molehill from his statement in which he didn't, in any way, imply that he thinks the PIW is inside illegally, what fuss is there?
we all know that 198 is a wab certified service, and since this is a did you know thread, im sure everyone knows that 198 can take in PIW. even if its not so common to see PIWs onboard a wab certified service, but the truth is, everyone, if not most, already will know that its possible to see a PIW onboard a WAB certified service so i don't think that JaSoNhSu92 should post his findings here since its already known by many.
i don't think JaSoNhSu92 nor Simple_boi is making a fuss and finding trouble but instead, you are. what i've said may apply to sinicker also. i do not want to go off-topic too much but just wanting to clarify some things here before another round of "flaming at each other" happens.

Oh yes, I perfectly agree with your first paragraph. Since it's a known fact, why did Simple_boi have to tell him off for that? Ignoring isn't a huge problem. If no one bothers about that he posts, it'll just bury. Besides, he was merely stating that he saw a PIW on board. Nothing wrong with that.
Also, to say that I'm creating trouble is, to put it simply telling me that: You fight with a friend over something you're unhappy about in school. The teacher/DM comes in and chides you. You say the teacher/DM is the one that is creating trouble. Makes perfect sense, eh?
i still feel it's just a statement. a statement that he made just to inform us all that hey, this WAB-certified bus service had a WAB passenger inside.
nothing wrong with that, if you get what i mean(adapted from whose line is it anyway). ![]()
TIB694E's driver window looks weird.it looks like its made smaller and its outlined in white.it suddenly looks a malaysian school bus if u look at it closely due to the driver window.

i agree with that, though there's a topic more suited to post it at, which is the "Anything Unusual On the Roads" topic.

i've nothing to say for the telling off part because what you've said is true. however, he could have posted it on the "Anything Unusual On the Roads", which i think is more suitable to post there than here because by seeing a PIW on board a WAB bus of a WAB certified service doesn't serve its purpose in this topic since its a "Did you know" topic when most or all have know that a PIW can board a WAB certified service, be it personally seen or heard. whereas in the "Anything Unusual On the Roads" topic, since its not so common to see a PIW onboard a WAB bus of a WAB certified service, and since the topic's purpose is not only cameos, so it should be posted there instead.
it does make sense. nothing to say for this, either.
.... That there is at least one volvo tow truck owned by SBST which have dress rims... Those rims look like the ones stolen from ME! [/joking]

There are errors in the history section. Jurong Depot in the 80s.It was on 12 May 2002, not 2001, that the service was extended to Jurong East interchange skipping Pandan Gdns, then on 19 May 2002, Toa Payoh aircon interchange opened. On 17 Nov 2002, the service was re-routed to ply Pandan Gdns again.
i have not touched much of the history dates and history info which were done up by someone else as far as i'm concern. perhaps you could update it for me ;)
saw an O405 Hispano on 77 yesterday. at least it said 77, the EDS was inversed. 77 was not shown by flip dots but by empty flip dots. The rest of the EDS was full of flip dots. Well, imagine a black 77 without route details on a green background. din manage to catch the rego.

I know what you mean - black text on a yellow background, with the black text being made up of unflipped dots and the yellow background made up of flipped dots.
I have seen some EDS displays do this before.
Is it just me or I'm unable to access the e-timetable URL of SBST site?
http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/transport/trpt_bus_timetable.aspx
Its been down since lunchtime at least.
just now 10pm+, SBS8033D on svc 183 was seen with passengers inside, but the interior lights were all totally off, as if inside the bus all blackout lol. the bus was coming out from Jurong East int when spotted.
wonder SBST will allow this onot..
The newest TGIS (some bank ad) on the Hispano Habit(s) makes it look like UK buses! Especially witht the red and black on the body, and coupled with white wheel rims. Spotted TIB1172M on 106 having this ad, and this ad brings out the beauty of Habit bodywork.

OCBC.
SMB1H and SMB2E now show service number on the right, same as the other OC500LEs... Originally the numbers face left.
3N has yet to receive new side desto plates. It recycles the old plate, covering Bukit Panjang Road with masking tape.

I think it was done by pressing '998' or similar, error input by bus captain likely...
