I wonder if 0484M travelled all the way to AMDEP to have it's gearbox changed, or it just took a gearbox from one of the deregistered MKIIs in SLBP?Originally posted by Scania:484M is sl 174, amdep has 6, 496D (BR 26) is another one according to 'SBS233X'.
latter is more likely. I think there should be some more ZF Merz since the Mk2s were laid-up for quite a while already.Originally posted by Oceane:I wonder if 0484M travelled all the way to AMDEP to have it's gearbox changed, or it just took a gearbox from one of the deregistered MKIIs in SLBP?![]()
No, what I actually mean is, are the Scania K310UD and/or the Volvo B9TL low entry buses, meaning whether it is low floor only from the entrance to the exit door.Originally posted by Scania:1. Its a K310UD, K = Vertically Mounted Engine, 310 = horsepower UD= Low Floor Double Decker. Similary, K230UB, is a low floor city bus having a 230hp vertically mounted engine. This is only applicable for the 5th series Scanias.
2. Asking the obvious. All KMB "Golden buses" are wheelchair accessible, low floor buses. The first of these "Golden buses" was the Trident which was introduced 10 years ago.
Well, Scania K-Series are all longitudinally mounted engines, so therefore for Scania K310UD it also means low-floor to the exit doors only.Originally posted by TWS4793:No, what I actually mean is, are the Scania K310UD and/or the Volvo B9TL low entry buses, meaning whether it is low floor only from the entrance to the exit door.
