Need help...going to Stagmont Camp from Compassvale???

  Hi,
  
  Is there a direct bus going from Compassvale to Stagmont Camp (Chua Chu Kang)?
  
  I'm serving my NS and need to travel daily to Stagmont Camp from my house in Compassvale. Though it's lucky to be a stay-out personnel, but travelling all the way from home to camp is quite tedious for me...
  
  Currently, I would take Bus 161...drop at Woodland Interchange...take the train to CCK and take the chartered bus into camp...total journey took me 1-1.5hrs...
  
  Is there an faster or alternative way to get to my camp? Please advice...

  161 to Woodlands, 187 to Bukit Panjang and 190 to Jln Teck Whye.
  
  Alternatively, u can take MRT to Dhoby Ghaut and take 190 to Jalan Teck Whye.
  
  Depends on what time u need to reach your camp.
  use your option if you wanna reach your camp early.

  dats why i say, cck area has one of the worst bus service.
  
  sengkang = SBST
  
  CCK = SMRT
  
  dats why u need 1.5 hrs.
  
  i understand ur pain.
  
  u take MRT = one big round
  
  u take bus = change so many buses.

  Stick to your route. Its the fastest so far.
  
  If you want all bus route take 187/963 from Woodlands to Bt Panjang Rd change 190 to CCK.
  
  Since you are a stay-out personnel, you can try different routes when you go home, and then stick to your most preferred route. However it need not necessary be the fastest route..
