seems lyk AMDEP(SMRT) doesn't take good care of their buses. even quite good buses lyk the Dennis Lance beginning to get suspension problems. one good example is TIB1009C. wan to chiong oso cannot. the suspension at the rear left goes 'pop, pop, pop...' when i took on its cameo on 171. KJDEP is another one. 307 buses keep infested with roaches. not that i am siding with WLDEP, but basically i think that WLDEP is doing a gd job in trying to keep the bus in gd & clean condition.

And yet the bus companies claim they get people to clean the buses everyday in the wee hours of the morning before the first bus operates!

many buses are infested with roaches bcos people eat & drink in buses even when theres a nice big sign saying no food & drink fine $1000 (or something like that). best way to stop the problem is to adopt a tougher stand against eating & drinking. even if the roach nest has been removed & the bus is cleaned up when people start eating in the bus the problem starts again

Look out for TIB774H ( 307 bus ) today spotted on 67
with the icecream ad .. inside not oni got baby cockroach got some big big one liao.. and some black ants

roaches are found more frequently on SMRT buses than SBST...take SBST buses much more than SMRT buses but the amount of buses with roaches is close to zero on SBST while ive seen a few cases for SMRT...esp LO3x although they are quite dirty on the upper deck..still no roaches though..

For SMRT buses mostly KJDEP side. The main cause beside inconsiderate pax is the worn fabric cushion.They need to be replace PVC types.We drivers sent a lot of suggestion but fall to deaf ears by the corp(Not buses side)

To be frank, there's no practical reason why a roach would want to enter a bus, UNLESS it smells food or sweet items on board it.
So who's the cause of the roaches?
