Bus first deployment

I could only remember 1224Y first time when I sat it somewhere 2003 on 188. After which it was all along on 188 until 189 started introducing bendies in early 2006. Slightly before that period it had been spare bus. It should have been under KJDEP all the while, lest my memories are not to accurate.
[Warning: Slightly off topic, do not continue if you are bounded by time]
Although not first deployment, but as I could remember, ex-KJDEP buses of service 989 were 432U, 436J and 479K which were transferred to other depots after the service was withdrawn, while the others stayed in KJDEP and 'helped' out other services.
As memories held, 475X went to 189 after which to 67, 492X and 547Y went to 188, 493T went to 176, although info on sgwiki indicated 61 first, 520Z went immediately to 189 and stayed ever since, 521X, 537B, 539X, 611U and 800R went to 106 and stayed there as well. 543H went to 190, 591T went to 925 first, then spare and now serving multiple roles as shuttle and regular buses. 600B and 608E went over to 67, 605M served 189 for quite a while before going over to 176. 792E, which was seen many times on 989, cannot be confirmed as a perm and so is left out of this picture. Hino, DAF and Volgren Merc were some of those which also served on the route as cameos.
And for those interested, there was actually a Habit 'serving' on 989 on the first day! Although the exact details whether it entered Changi International PTB or even ran the entire route is still sketchy, the rego can be certain and still can be found on the TIBS news magazine in the National Library.

Later RK176 perm replacements included TIB37C, TIB39Y and TIB41P. TIB45D and TIB46B went on to other trunk services.
37, 39, 41 and 42 could only serve in Yishun feeder services because they lacked the ticket printing machine. It is only after they acquired the Sanyo S-Light farecard system could these buses do trunk services. And even then, they rarely ventured out from service 803, if at all.
37 later did service 805 together with TIB34K and TIB36E. I can't remember if 34 and 36 had the ticket printing machine. Maybe they lacked the machine as well.

You sure you want to find me? You are young lady issit? I am a very old man leh. I was already in primary school when TIBS started, and had a few good years of fond and unfond memories of SBS buses in Sembawang services, just to give u a hint on how old I am.
I'm also served by the bus stop outside CCHS (Yishun) and in fact I live close to the bus stop. 1 minute walk from my void deck.

From what I personally remembered, there was a Lance cameo on 812 before.
1257 after being registered first went on 852 before going to 980. Alot of the Lances (UK ones esp.) were on 852 before being distributed around 853 and 855. -

Lances... the first M'sia one was probably on 854 (non perm) - 854 looks like a "guinea pig" service for any new buses debuting in AMDEP. But the first perm deployments for M'sia lances were 59, 103 and 163. 852, 853 and 855 got hit only later. 852, 853, 855 and 169 only REALLY and extensively got flooded and plagued with Lances after 82, 103, 163, 864, 865 and 866 were returned or handed over to SBS. -
I need a original fleet list of 811 before the bendies came so that I can work out which buses got replaced. If I remember, there was no bendy on 811 before the Habits arrived.
Still trying to remember which buses served 811 before.

I think 852 originally had about half Lance half DAFs. Originally, when SMRT converted some CSS UDs to SMRT ones (1248 ~ 1256), alot of them appeared on 852 and 853. 1252, 1253, 1254, 1255 and 1256 were first on 812 replacing some 852/853 slots before the first 4 got transferred to WLDEP. -

I dun remember any of these being perm on 811 except 583S. 496K and 497H had been on 171 all along after the CCK handover exercise. 811J and 812G possible, as is 819M, but they could not have been on service 811 for long. TIB811J and TIB814B went from 812 to 804 and then from there to other services since. TIB819M and TIB820H served on service 812 - they were the last AMDEP perm rigids to serve on service 812 before it went full bendy. From there they went to service 171. Whether they did 811 perm in between I am not sure, but I dont think so. I havent seen them on 171 lately so i dun think they are still on service 171. Maybe because I have not been to Yishun Interchange often enough for the last 4 years already. BTW, not all converted UDs went to WLDEP straight. They were in AMDEP for a brief period of time before most of them went to WLDEP. -

TIB1049L originally AMDEP 859. Kena transferred to WLDEP then perm 901. It was until this year when the sharing of 900/901 perms idea was implemented that it went perm as 900/901.
I am not sure about this, but svc 900's first original fleet includes:
TIB456B - Sadly now 950 perm, always neglected
TIB726Y - Noted for theTraffic police ad.
TIB855H - Back then was the only full ad. perm bendy bus on 900 which is the energizer ad. The pic of this bus with the ad. and serving 900 could be seen at Yim's Brother. There was once when there was some sort of accident in WRI and the news reported. The bus was seen exiting the interchange
Until now this is the only bendy that had ever served 900 with a full body ad.

Yeah. After that buses like TIB830D came in for a while before TIB904A came in. It was not until this year when SMRT decied to put Habit perms in 900.
The 2 Volgren bendies (1181L, 1183G) are the originals of 900. Not sure about 999B and 904A. -
MB O405G Volgren bendies did 184 before going to Woodalnds Depot, is it true anyway?? Seen some of the volgren bendies did 184 before in 2001/02.
