so have u ever open the windows of any air con smrt bus? especially if u feel the air con is not strong enough or u feel the bus inside very smelly... -

The CAC Nissans most still can open. But window quite heavy.
Then the opening lever very stiff too. -

Several buses from AM have windows that are not locked... They consist of some service 171 buses so many people have fun with them.
Mandai road is the place where you would feel almost, on a convertible car. -
Speaking of windows,yesterday I saw windows that are LCD screens on a bus in Ginza Tokyo.Very good for advertisment so I wonder if Singapore has them already.

Due to wear and tear, NAC windows usually become unopenable eventually, especially those of the Jap buses (vertical sliding type). The locking clips get jammed, their springs not work, then dirt and other "growth" on the sliding rails prevent the window pane from moving properly...
As for the NAC O405's, I found that the window panes were already very tight since day one. -

I tried but the clip thing caked wif dust, some times gt dirty stuff like roach solid waste on them, eek!

i like to do that
and i did it to TIB773 whilst on NR7. bus chhiong but AC not working too well..so since i know some 77x TIBS merc can open window, i go n try. then wah song. the wind come in criculate in bus. ac like get better.
also one time on ELBo forgot rego i open window cuz too hot. some pax not too happy tho. haha
as for CAC nissan ii dun dare try touch.. cuz i recall the incident when i was young kiddy and i tried the pull up suing clips window that on the merc OF1413 supreme star bodywork and the window clip kiap my finger n i pain. so these kind of window i try to avoid. man those windows r havy too.

last time i sit the 969.. the bus is travelling so slowwwllyy and those malay boys sitting at the back of the bus go open the window.. den the whole bus was sooo hot n stuffy.. kns.. n i was having a stomachache at tat time.. aiya so sux la
