That's what we have to do, bond first. Socialise. Get to know each other well. IF there's no bonding, we are like not united as one 'club'. I see our fellow Malaysia counterparts socialise and I got a talk to one of them yesterday and they are utterly disappointed at us because our forums a bit messy and we don't socialise like they did.
So please, dun embarrass Singapore and ourselves. -

Of course this is not as worse as some kind of 'US and Soviet' relations, but you can always expect some embarrassment when people meet for the first time...
Not to say some might bring in their disagreement from the web only, you know how it is to meet someone for the first time lah, you can't just go up and say 'yo yo yo' those type of things lah...
So meeting up for the first time informally, is the best way I think...

I got missed out of an interview with directors shooting documentary of Tanjung Pagar Station foro Singapore Flim Festival.
So, this a chance to prove our existence. Here is the proposed details:
16th December 2007
Place: Tanjung Pagar Railway Station
Time: Afternoon (3 pm)
I hope that all of those interested could come down to Tanjung Pagar and discuss. I will plan bonding sessions during our meeting.
Schedule:
3pm: Gather-around
3:10 pm: Introduction of all members (Compulsory)
3:50 pm: Break (Witness KTMB Train arrival) (Optional)
4:10 pm: Discussion of interview
4:45 pm: KOC Buffet
5:15 pm: Dismissal

It's important to note that in Malaysia, life is more relaxed than we Singaporeans. I've seen it and experienced it before and I can tell their lives are less "stressed" than us. We, on the other hand, have such tied up schedules that whenever we want to organise something it somehow or rather, fails. As such, they do have alot of extra time than us Singaporeans and thus are able to plan and organise things well, because people are able to fork out the time. I do read up on KTM sometimes and whenever something is planned it often goes well because the people there can agree on some timing what.
And, next, it's not about us not wanting to socialise. Everytime you strike a proposal it always involve KTM somehow or rather. It doesn't only makes us angry and confused, even you receive the same treatment by KTM members.
So, although I appreciate it that you are having some initiative here on trying to socialise, please don't always involve KTM can?
Surely if a TV interview is there for us we would try to make it... and we do have our own ways of socialising. No need always depend on KTM. I've read it up alot of times and they are quite capable of always socialising with others. -

here are some qns answered...
I am sure not gonna charter a bus.
No i dont work for Mediacorp, even my producer dont work for mediacorp. but they're tag teaming. Its called outsourcing. They have to resort to using young media artists to develop content for them...
I will email SBS/SMRT regarding filming at their respective int and make arrangements. (though i have a feeling SMRT can just anyhow film...did that so so many times with huge camera)
It would be interesting to feature a driver like Carbikebus
and having seniors like tamago.
i am in the midst of editing my first episode so i will announce the production date for the bus fan episode later ok?
My crew will come up with a schedule so that hopefully the outing will run smoothly. If need be, my producer might be there as well.
So cheers! And keep on the discussion so i cant try to figure out what to feature in the episode.

a) All the mods here.
b) At least a bus driver driving for SBST or SMRT.
c) A (very) good bus photographer.
d) Any senior bus fan NOT registered in this forum.
e) A cameo lister.

For this episode standard,
i feel that any bus fan with at least Bus routes knowledge, Bus model knowledge or collection of bus items(guides, tix) is fine.
Good enough for TV.
Some ppl dont even know this forum exists and when they i told my producers, they were like....."are you sure?" -
Tinitin seems to remind me of someone in this forum. Always trying to mix KTM and Bus forums together.
We all know the "ending" for that fellow forummate.
