Omg... MK IV DM (ZF) and MK IV Strider sound the same, so it's easy to imitate.
In fact, for me.... I can imitate almost all models already. Still in the process of rectifying my own flaws for the K230UB.

Actually it's about the same one lah... if you know how to do a ZF gearbox most of the buses with ZF gearbox you can also do. Same with Voith.
OT: I used to lived in Kembangan when I was young... and have been taking those Darts for a long time (sometimes got MKIII DM as cameos). But I forgot their engine sound already.
Just wanting to confirm... Dennis Dart is Voith gearbox or what? -

I think one of the hardest to do should be B10TL & K230UB (Need someone who can do low frequency then can)... I can imitate B9TL though.
K230UB.. the very thing to master is the timing to change gear. -

I agree. Imitating bus sound sounds a bit extreme.
I can know all the bus engine sounds, and it's also easy once you know the gearbox that comes with it. -

In my opinion, imitating bus sounds is more of an additional thing u guys have and it can be quite useful and fun. It is useful when u know what bus service is coming from a farway distance. It is fun because to me, bus sounds just simply sound like music. -
Interview =/= Competition... if you know bus sounds good already, no need show off talents. Sorry guys, just came back from HK. Can i also come? Although i'm not very active in the board, but would also like to get to know u guys. P.S., i found books written by Danny Chan in the 80M bus shop, esp the Singapore Buses Handbook 1996. Bought them all. Also bought an LO2x 10.5 m model. Hope to share with u guys.

LOL...I still make bus sounds when I am alone and/or bored. Sometimes at work, my colleagues would overhear and they asked, "What is that noise?". Buses nowadays sound more or less the same, IMO. Maybe its because they use similar gearboxes. The old buses have different sounds and each type was unique. I can make out the sounds of the Albion Viking, Mercedes OF1413, OF1417, O305, Volvo B57, Guy Victory, Hino RK, Leyland Atlantean and Olympian 2x.

Channel Newsasia is viewed by many people in many countries, especially Asia. I do not want to be a disgrace for Singapore bus fans. Fame isn't my priority.

you rather not give up the chance and take the risk of not knowing what to do or be embarrassed in the show?
