Currently learning how to do ZF MKIV DM.![]()
Actually it's about the same one lah... if you know how to do a ZF gearbox most of the buses with ZF gearbox you can also do. Same with Voith.
OT: I used to lived in Kembangan when I was young... and have been taking those Darts for a long time (sometimes got MKIII DM as cameos). But I forgot their engine sound already.
Just wanting to confirm... Dennis Dart is Voith gearbox or what?
I would say for B10TL one requires a higher pitch. B10TL can be imitate thru 2 types: High pitch type, or dry type (ie without the radiator).Originally posted by Oceane:Wah... I can't imitate VO2x/VO3x well leh...
I think one of the hardest to do should be B10TL & K230UB (Need someone who can do low frequency then can)... I can imitate B9TL though.![]()
Then we all have a challenge on the 29th. Looks like I'm not the only one that imitate sounds. I could immitate air pressure and I could immitate Volvo B10M Mk-II, Mk-IV ZF, B10TL (a pro in this), and bus horn. (Train horn applicable).Originally posted by Oceane:Wah... Somebody tell me the importance of imitating bus sounds when it comes to an interview.Originally posted by tintinspartan:Then we all have a challenge on the 29th. yup. agreed on the last statement especially when it is commonly perceived as "wierd" by the members of the public unless an official competition is held for that.Originally posted by SBS9816E:Omg... MK IV DM (ZF) and MK IV Strider sound the same, so it's easy to imitate.
In fact, for me.... I can imitate almost all models already. Still in the process of rectifying my own flaws for the K230UB.
But anyway, imitating bus engine sound... I would say it is not a form of talent to be flaunt.
Interview =/= Competition... if you know bus sounds good already, no need show off talents. Later memebers of the public see us as a bunch of wierdos as "human buses".Originally posted by tintinspartan:Then we all have a challenge on the 29th. LOL...I still make bus sounds when I am alone and/or bored. Sometimes at work, my colleagues would overhear and they asked, "What is that noise?". I just act blur and pretend I didn't hear anything.Originally posted by Oceane:Interview =/= Competition... if you know bus sounds good already, no need show off talents. That's a damn lame reason why you would give up this chance.Originally posted by sbs&tibs:muziq_bus: I'd like to withdraw from this programme. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. I am not a very good speaker, neither am I a professional bus fan. Channel Newsasia is viewed by many people in many countries, especially Asia. I do not want to be a disgrace for Singapore bus fans. I will not hesitate to criticize the quality of the programme should it turn out less than satisfactory. So who's being wise here?Originally posted by SBS3625D:That's a damn lame reason why you would give up this chance.![]()
viewers of channel newsasia are mostly adults. not being vocal enough also contributes to how you present the show, not having many contents to show the viewers, they will find it boring. do note, there are a lot of viewers in channel newsasia, there has to be a lot of mature contents to please and to convince viewersOriginally posted by SBS3625D:That's a damn lame reason why you would give up this chance.![]()

I appreciate your thoughts, but as a creative, my producers and my team have got it all figured out.Originally posted by BusSpeeder:viewers of channel newsasia are mostly adults. not being vocal enough also contributes to how you present the show, not having many contents to show the viewers, they will find it boring. do note, there are a lot of viewers in channel newsasia, there has to be a lot of mature contents to please and to convince viewers

i cannot force you all to join.
and quality wise, you should know that CNA wont put shows of low quality.
so, you can stop doubting me cos i am a full time mass media student and not a full time forumnite. I am not even a teen no more and have been doing TVCs already.
anyway, can i have a reconfirmation of who is interested to be in?
anyones welcomeOriginally posted by QX5216J:Gee. i'm interested to be in.. Still open i guess?

Honestly, why give up this chance if you want it? You might regret it next time for giving up because of that!Originally posted by service_238:I will not hesitate to criticize the quality of the programme should it turn out less than satisfactory. So who's being wise here?
you rather not give up the chance and take the risk of not knowing what to do or be embarrassed in the show? CNA is viewed by mostly adult and serious viewers, and there has to be mature contents. the viewers won't want to see anyone not knowing what to do and to say, not having much knowledge to share with everyone else.Originally posted by SBS3625D:Honestly, why give up this chance if you want it?
