Ok, here's an update.
I am in the midst of getting approval to film at BB and YSH Int.
As well as Carbikebus...
things seem to be looking bright.
if all goes well then things would go according to plan.
So,
meeting place is at
29 Dec 07
Sat 11am
BB Int (buzz)
this is not a hoax.
approach the camera crew ok? so that we can identify you.
you are encouraged to bring any collection related to buses(tix,guides,model)
this would add extra content to the reel time
we will start of with a little ice breaker
followed by a simple interview.
(how simple? we will ask about your reason for the interest, what is so fun? how do ppl react to your interest...etc) simple questions
then we will go on board 852 and head to YSH (alternatively 176>171)
there, we will search for CBB and film him more simple qns
then we get on board and we just chill in his 853 to GL1.
there we can have more chit chats.
if time permits, we can head down to BNL and shoot you guys having fun there.
Really simple.
Don't worry whether it might be boring on TV or whatsoever cos editing will make it look great.

Anyone remember a post I made a few pages ago? I requested to include both TIB 1034D and TIB 1224Y in the flim.
But again, it's up to the producer to decide what to film.
I still haven't sought permission from my parents to be present in the filming. I'm interested to go, but because of parental's permission and for fear of being too famous (my classmates used me as a 'pig' for almost everything), I may decide not to go. Whatever the decision, I'll still confirm whether to go for the shooting later on. -

there are many reasons why I cant take certain interchanges.
simply because of passenger traffic and the atmos.
we need to capture good audio.
I still have doubts with filming at BNL
but we need to have an int that looks lively...
so yeah, shooting at 179 berth area would be nice
1224 Y would be at BB anyway so, it would be nice to get a cutaway shot of that

Basically, my interest is more on railways, but I do fell in love with bus especially city buses which operated in Singapore - SBS Transit, SMRT, Trans Island bus or.. <-- sorry I can't remember much the bus operators but mainly the SBS Transit.
Yes, I am friend to Mr. Tintinspartan. Sorry guys, if I really troublesome you all. I possible, I would really like to join the outing which interviews the bus fans for of course ! The reason is, I would like to gain some experience to see how the bus fans being interviewed and to meet all of you here, who are coming on the 29th.

Welcome to SG Bus Communities. And yeah, theres only two Public Bus Operators in Singapore which are SBSTransit (or SBS in the past) and SMRT Buses (which is Trans Island Bus Services). -

Em sorry but i got to ask this, why is the filming have to be at SMRT controlled places but not SBST ones? And may i suggest riding on near-extinct buses like the CRBs and MKII? That may make a perfect ride for those nostalgic ones.

Otherwise than that, any permission to meddle with 1224Y will be SMRT's decision. Its the company's bus and anything that happens to it will not be under my control. So people will not need to ask if I am going to buy the bus when COE expires etc...
And unless 1224Y is needed on 189 or 106, otherwise according to trend it will be most likely on 190 or 67. -

and SMRT replied first before SBST. so yeah.
