  haha, that was not what I said earlier. After that, I noticed that SBS 3852P got a new ads few weeks ago and it had always been on Svc 66. What I am puzzled was anyone see SBS 3872G on svc 66 these days? SBS 3909K shall be supporting the loss of SBS 3852P.

  i dun think it'll turn WAB... like sv 64, DD + low-floor SD makes boarding and alighting easier for aged people...

  S64 can become WAB because it has got about 50% WABs in the fleet. S62 has got little WABs.

  maybe, but i always believed the pressing need is to remove B10M's away which are high-floor, while leaving the DD's around which have less steps but aren't WAB-capable.

  and i thought it was like, 75%?  maybe criterias might change later on, since there are majority B9 fleet services which ain't WAB yet.

  It's ok to replace some of the DDs with K230UB. Both the DDs and the SDs look super empty during off peak. It should have less buses during off peak 'cause the frequency at the moment is too good and there are always empty DDs cruising aroung Hougang during off peak:(

  If there is no demand, explain to me why on 6th feb 08, Service 62 got full fleet double decks on saturday timesheets.

  possible solution:
  put in 5 K230s to 51, 80, 147...probably 1 K230s for 51, 2 K230s for 80 and 2 K230s for 147

  take 5 of the non WAB SDs (2693, 2 from 80 and 147) out as SP and put 5 of the HG SP VOs into these services

  take the 5 B9TLs from these services and add in the 2 SP B9TL and perm 62 fleet replacing 7 of the VOs

  then put 5 perm K230s for 62...this would be the first service to have K230s and B9TLs in a fleet..i dunno if they have some rule that restricts havin K230s and B9TLs

  total 12 WAB buses, 7 B9TLs and 5 K230s...

  but there are still problems

  e.g: is the 2693 xover to Premium 540..can the K230 can do the xover as well?

  Erm hello, I didn't say there was no demand. And I was talkin' about weekdays. If you dun believe, go to Hougang on a weekday afternoon and see the almost empty buses cruising around 'cause the frequency is too good. At least for Service 87, although the frequency is very good for off-peak, it is at least justified 'cause there's quite a sizeable load.

  It is still a 51 perm.
