off service say SBS9417Z is perm 161 one month ago. i am not sure about now though.But SBS9182A did have a SP sticker yesterday when i took it on Sv 76.

There is a war between 161 and 21's service leader fighting for 9417Z. 21 got fleet addition of 9133S but the service leader wants a volvo instead of a LO. End up 21 wins so 21 gotten 9417Z.

Whether a bus can go fast depends on other factors like route of the svc it is on or BC that is driving it. But from what i remember it wasnt a fast bus on svc 65 -

Maybe the 161 drivers should ask for 9213U from 55, its not as good as the other VO3xes, but better than the LO3xes. So now we know why they have LO3xes as SP, drivers want VO3xes. -

Different depots have drievrs who have different wants. Give a Leyland to Hougang, Bukit Batok and Bedok North and they'll not like it, give a Merc to Hougang and they snatch any opportunity to drive them, even if the bus is not on their perm service, especially so for those ex-amdep and ex-O.305 services. One reason why amdep drivers want VO3xes is because amdep has recieved VO2xes and VO3xes when they were brand new, but currently have small amounts of them. This means that there are a substantial amount of drvivers who like VO2xes and VO3xes after driving them after so many years, which also means that there are many drivers who want to drive a VO3x than a LO3x right now. The B10TLs on the other hand, have recieved mixed reastions from drivers, some drivers like it for it being easier to drive as compared to the LO3xes, while some don't like them because of its poor accleration and top speed. Driver preferences is also a reason why Hougang refuses to give away its Tridents, and why amdep gives away the Scanias to bndep, its all about welfare a depot can give to its drivers.
