Pity the bus fleet of 97 (infested with 10 LO3x), which also passes through the city.
Pity the former bus fleet of 143, which is immensenly infested with LO3x.
And for those services that do not pass through the city,
98 and 179 are infested with LO3x. 154 has its many VO3x brutally taken from it and replaced by LO3x. 154 also has VO2x and tons of SDs to contend with. 69 also has all batch 1 VO3x only.
That being said, the bus fleet of 197 is better off than those of many services.
Be contend with what buses 197 has because many services are worse than it.
But indeed, some services like 23 has all the Batch 2 and 3 VO3x, but what can you do? It's up to SBS Transit to arrange.
If you don't put LO3x, the only other option for SLBP would be to replace them with SDs unless other depots transfer newer buses to them

My point is that 197's fleet is already better than those of some other services.I am not saying that SLBP should not deploy LO3x to the services. They have no choice because there aren't any better buses.
Perhaps 197's fleet can be improved with addition of newer buses from BNDEP side, like more batch 2 VO3x and perm VSOs, and replacing the Mark IIIs with more DM3500s.
For the SL side of 197, I am not faulting it.
But seriously, the majority of the VO3x are concentrated in BNDEP and HGDEP - they should transfer some to BRBP and SLBP. In my opinion, I feel that BRBP and SLBP should get more VO3x.
There is no wrong in SL deploying LO3x on the services.

Of course that WAB buses they know la. Other buses like VO3x batch 2, 3 they dun really make any different especially batch 1 & LO3x. If u put the soon chow on svc 185 they also thought that it is new bus.
