Yawn. You like to speculate much.

525D was not perm 105 at all.
to all bus fans: a bus that does a particular service for a long period of time =/= perm. it is only perm when it is indicated by the roster or sticker.
Let's call such buses the temp perm.![]()
Seems like every week there will be at least 1-2 new additional services from each depot that will start getting Scania K230UBs (services 24, 156 and 163 for this week so far). Wonder whether HGDEP have any intention to transfer some of its Volvo MK4s to BNDEP to makeup for its outgoing Scania N113 CRBs.

If that happens, I will be jumping for joy! Unless HGDEP gets K230 then this will happen.

It would be nice to have Mercs on BNDEP controlled feeders. After 24 is demercilised, there will be no Mercs in the East unless BNDEP gets Mercs

Which hopefully the 19X Mercs on 24 stay there for as long as possible, if not wrong, they should be the longest permers on any service. The next longest would the the 44X on 130. Those Mercs served the two services since probably day 1.

A full K230UB would be ideal of course, but I'm pretty much ok with half the fleet getting the Scanias. There's on rush to replace all the merc on 24. After all, the merc will be gone in say 1 to 2 years time. But as long 24 has some new buses, I am generally satisfied. Next time want to go overseas don't have to take taxi to the airport!!! Can always take the bus!!! :>
Having scanias on service 24 is like at the same time giving the impression to tourists on our new buses

The K230s have extreme few seats. So how can that give tourists a good impression?

I believe you don't understand the term crush loading.
Anyway, the tourists don't take 24 for the full trip my dear.

I thought tourists usually take 36 to the city, not the other buses to the heartlands.

I nv seen tourists taking svc 24. Even svc 36, it is quite rare to see tourisits onboard. Tourisits would take MRT instead. For Svc 24, I believe it is to benefits the passengers along the road.
SBS9826B (AM SP) --> (AM 55)
