BRBP shortage of SP buses.
before SBS88Z's entrance, there were only 5 BRBP SP 0405s and 2 SP K230UBs which most of the time did 238.

i believe that 2 Supers cant cope with the demand. there should be crossovers too ![]()

It doesnt take a rocket scientist to realise 2 buses cant run the route during peak hours at 9-12min frequency.

I suspect that some of the WLDEP 980's full day slots have been taken over by AMDEP. Need to verify again.

three striders all regularly cameoing around on AR services
Sorry to burst your bubble. SBS1926Z is still perm on arbp S63, although it has been cameoing on many arbp services recently. It's perm slot is usually cameoed by a K230UB. Why? bbdep/arbp has so many to K230UBs to spare, and they could only deploy on services with perm K230UBs.
SBS9806J is perm on amdep S55, and it should be replacing SBS9141T according to some bus fans. The bus is still on S55 with the Dengue ad, but no longer in S55 roster.
SBS1937S is NOT replaced by SBS2596K. Both are still on S123. SBS8125Y is not perm on S123, can somebody edit the wiki?

Found that sbs very slack in pasting perm sticker and some even handwritten,
A bus had this perm written in marker
At first, perm 22
Then cancel,
Perm 30
Then cancel
and at last perm 31
But credit should also be given to them on some DM3500, maybe IMF period, the perm number was engraved on the steering wheel of the driver, symmetical and striaght looking, cool
Btw, where SMRT write their perm number??

That was the past. Some depots such as bndep, hgdep & amdep used to write down the perm status using marker, especially VO3X & LO3X. amdep & hgdep now paste stickers to indicate perm status, whereas bndep still writes using marker (not all of the markings are updated)
SMRT doesn't do that. You got to find out from the duty rosters at various interchanges.

I suggest better not post unless the news is confirmed. Quite misleading for some people.

so does it means that 123 have fleet deduction instead? since currently it have only 8 perm buses compared to 9 previously?

SBS2748P was perm 123 all along.

I wonder if the tridents' status are still indicated by permanent marker on the driver's cabin-side.![]()
