Of course they will, at least they have some decent Mercs now, which they lost some when they became training buses.

SBS 0415M recently just became HGDEP TRG. More SLBP SP buses are scheduled to leave for HGDEP so it needs more buses to cope with its shortage. -

Service 980 was one time full AMDEP in 2004 during the time when service 950 was introduced, however plans were reversed and some duties went back under WLDEP again. Ever since then some of service 980's duties had always been bouncing around between the 2 depots
If service 980 is full AMDEP means no more Scanias, Hispano bendies (MK1) and Volgren bendies.

Service 52 like have Scania K230UBs on and off at times.And seems that AMDEP's practice of putting new Scanias on new services are in massive batches (24, 53, 130). Compared to HGDEP which will only put 1-2 of them (119, 156, 163).

If SLBP is laying up their Mercedes at a fast pace and AMDEP is supposed to transfer Mercedes to them, the only way is to massively deploy the new K230s to AMDEP services.

Look , There is no such thing as decent mercs . Please stop saying such things to instigate a fight on whether slbp or amdep merc are better . it is up to the individual depot on how they want to maintain their buses or what they want to do with it , you have no say , neither do i . it is up to sbst . so quit saying that a particular depot's bus is good . its really ridiculous that there is always a quarrel over this , its pretty childish by giving such comments indirectly .
i'm really sick of watching this for a long time . all the arguments . so before another one starts i'd say Let it GO .
AM want to transfer , SL want to transfer , let it be , if you think a particular merc is decent , then go buy it la , and park it in your house carpark .
SO what's your defintion of a decent merc , you mean the merc wears clothes ? ...
Please la , no depot is perfect . whether it is merc , scania , or volvo , it is up to the individual depot what they want to do or how they want to maintain , keep or scrap , etc .
Merc are MERC .

somehow the O405s transfer from AMDEP to SLBP reminds me of the LO2x transfers from BRBP to SLBP months before phasing out in 2003.

to each his own. a definition of a decent merc to me is its engine is ok, air-con ok and no rattling in bodywork. i have sat one such WA merc on 105 but forgot rego.
