The Habits are in dire need of some overhaul

There are some Habits that have a large reddish-brown spot at the back of the right side of the bus... don't know why they have such large spots. Seriously... I've seen 1084J before. The back of the bus looks totally horrible. Guess KJDEP didn't maintain it well. -

Hopeless case... unless there is major changes in the LTA Year end review in the Land Transport in Singapore.......
The company itself don't even bother about the bad publication in the forum page. I still can see buses with layers of dust on the window ledge and aircon duct on Sv 190.

The brown patch can also be seen on 1032J...
Many of the KJ buses have problems in cleaniness...
1157H is more like SP sided over to 67...
But over the day, and particularly for A/P buses, more litter and dirt forms up...
To a lesser extent, the S buses, while at depot, collects dust and 'kah zhua' from open doors and window(s). Thats why S and SP buses dun really escape from the wrath of dirt and little/large insects... -
my god thank god i dun take smrtbuses at all.
easy to catch a cold or bus flu.

sv67 / sv190 / sv307.. i stay in cck area.. these 3 service all got hygine problem.. worse comes to 307...
tink they even got external pest company to clean up the bus.... got the stick of pest company in some buses -

Normally i take SMRT bus not so bad leh but i can remember got 1 oac mercs in sv966's fleet the last row of seat can move (Screws become loose?) and super dusty

TIB507M still have roaches even after refurbishment .
The only gd thing i can think about Hispano box merz aircon outlets is , your hands seldom risk getting dirty just to adjust the vents . Some SBST ones your fingers can accidentally reach the inner side , which is EXTREMELY dirty. Those B9TL aircon outlet types . -

Although there are many complaints about buses being dirtied, who thinks that depots are showing favouritsm to a particular bus(es)?
Take for example, 811 buses. They are dirty from the top to the bottom of the exterior, and white dust covering wheels as well as part of the body. See liao also want vomit.
Then, buses from 812 (In particular TIB 1218 R). This baby get's it's rims painted once every month and clean up once every few days. Looks shiny to me always.
But I wonder why certain buses are selected for repainting of wheel rims only? Recently 800 and 812 buses also had their wheel rims re-painted, but not the rest. I think AMDEP is being bias liao.

SMRT replies on bikes and dirty buses
I REFER to the letters, 'Allow folded bikes on buses and trains' by Ms Ng Lai Yien (ST, Dec 17), 'Allow bikes on trains and build more skate parks' by Mr Freddie Wee (ST Online Forum, Dec 19) and 'Study issue carefully before making decision' by Mr Tan Tuan Khoon (ST Online Forum, Dec 19).
We would like to clarify that large and bulky items such as bicycles are not allowed into our MRT system, as they may cause damage or injury to passengers.
Furthermore, during an emergency where passengers need to be evacuated quickly and safely, the presence of large items could be a possible obstruction.
However, we do allow foldable bicycles without protruding parts during off-peak hours.
The foldable bicycle must be packed in a bag not larger than 81cm by 58cm by 30cm.
Similarly, folded bicycles are allowed on SMRT buses. However, our Service Leaders can use their discretion to stop any passengers carrying bulky items from boarding the bus if they cause discomfort and inconvenience to our passengers.

I REFER to the letter, 'Thick layer of dust and dead cockroach in bus' by Madam Goh Li Lian (ST, Dec 17).
We would like to apologise for Madam Goh's unpleasant encounter on board bus service 190.
The affected bus has since been sent for thorough cleaning, following the feedback received.
We would like to assure Madam Goh that SMRT takes a serious view on the hygiene and cleanliness of our buses, and thank her for bringing the matter to our attention.

I tink all furry seats like benz o405, hispanos, DAF, will sure to trap dust, hit the seats and u can see alot of dusty effects. Not onli dusts, u can see cockroaches running around in benz o405 cac. i tink onli UD, Dennis lance or Hinos will hav "non- furry seats"?
