Just like the SMRT's O405s..Originally posted by TWS4793:Same case happened to SBS 3745R.
Basically the problem is common for several buses, including DDs. Part of the ad can just get unsticked due to constant wear and tear.
It seems like buses which just got their new ads also got the same problem.. It is because the sticker quality drop? Examples are SBS 8034BOriginally posted by service_238:Do note that there are 2 types of 'wear and tear' which the advert is torn off.
One is ngjy22's SBS 0170 T picture - the mechanics made a clean cut off the advertisement at the bottom. A fair no of other amdep buses are in the same state (like 176C)
Another is TWS' 3745R - this is obviously thru wear and tear where every bus is prone to having it after a period of time.
depends on how you paste the ad on the bus.Originally posted by chickenlittle2:It seems like buses which just got their new ads also got the same problem.. It is because the sticker quality drop? Examples are SBS 8034B
SBS3771P (AM 136) got the lower part of the Aviva ad remove , on both sides..Originally posted by service_238:Do note that there are 2 types of 'wear and tear' which the advert is torn off.

im still thinking if they are doing anything to the bottom part of the bus or something...Originally posted by lemon1974:SBS3771P (AM 136) got the lower part of the Aviva ad remove , on both sides..
i think the ppl at the depot purposely remove it to make it look neat..
most likely the bottom part of the bus were damage or what..Originally posted by service_238:im still thinking if they are doing anything to the bottom part of the bus or something...
I think all the refurb buses all got their ads cut off, maybe change/paint certain exterior body parts.Originally posted by lemon1974:most likely the bottom part of the bus were damage or what..
lucky for this aviva ad, the bottom part is just plain yellow colour. no words.
just like you say, a lot of AMDEP buses got their ad damaged here and there.. i think 3867 or 3768 also right?
and very coincidentally, the rego are quite close.Originally posted by Scania:I think all the refurb buses all got their ads cut off, maybe change/paint certain exterior body parts.
Cos they refurb their buses by rego (generally).Originally posted by lemon1974:and very coincidentally, the rego are quite close.
3764 (before it got the job central ad), 3766/3767/3768/3771 all got their ads cut off.
SBS182 also got the ad cut off.
