  Sometimes either one of the driver couldnt be bothered by one another.I've ever let a 168 DD overtook me went i know he is behind schedule.I slow down although my bus can reach more than 70kmh.This is call considerate..

  anyway, it was reported that it happen near the loyang exit (towards changi direction)... see the news (in chinese) and picture of damage bus. should be on 858 instead of 969. Sad that two lives are gone.. go green with smrt?

  The Go Green bus that kena accident, hmmm.... Let's list down all the buses that has that ad which is under WLDEP..

  reported in newspaper, that two days ago,a Sv 69 ADD windows suddenly crack. No one was hurt and BC continue his journey to interchange (3 stops away), after checking that none of the 15 passengers were hurt.. rego unsure..

  Obviously the SMRT bus are held up by cars in front while for the scania its clear.Seriouly speaking the Scania purposely speed up to prevent from the SMRT to overtake him but in the end the Merc overtook back,I see no point on doing this especially if you're driving public buses...Futhermore the new scania got no speed restriction while for most SMRT Merc they are restricted to 60-70kmh only now

  PS:I'm not siding both side but a point of view from me as an ex-Bus driver

  not really...some merc can speed up to 80+. an example is TIB511A. SBS9399S speeding at 80km/h along SLE/TPE while speedometer only shows 60km/h...
