OMG... I just saw this bus out of the BP int just now... around that time too. At that time, no pax boarding service 177 at BP int. I was waiting for svc 176 -
SBS304A, service 181, broke down at Jurong West Ave 5 at around 1320 hours. I was on SBS92K, the bus right behind 304A, when this happened. Cause unknown.

TIB1229J, Service 963, brokedown at Bt Panjang Rd just before reaching the bus stop outside Blk 215 at about 0830 hours.
TIB1187X, brokedown at the centre of the road along the BKE before approaching Exit 2 towards PIE at about 0835 hours. Breakdown hazard sign was placed and the BC direct traffic to another lane to avoid any accident against the bus. -

Is it around 10am++ when it happened?

It's 0835 hrs.. I was onboard SMB14X on 190 when I saw 2 separate bendy breakdowns .. -

Not surprising to be same. Most of the time SMRT Buses would only get towed away 1h later after breakdown even when the bus is located a few mins from the depot -

I think it didn't reach int. It was towed from Admiralty Rd, past the new Admiralty Park towards RP. -

abt 4.40-4.45pm along PIE(Tuas) somewhere near eng neo...
a 960 Habit bendy broke down.
700 OC500LE was infront picking up passengers.
190 Habit was WAITING a distance behind the 960 bendy to go infront to help pick up more passengers.

today TIB619Z (167 AMDEP) had a puntured tire when it was on its perm service at 2 busstops after AMK Ave 1 towards Bt Merah. forgot the time of witness, as I was on TIB647S (167), and at time of witness, the mechanics were already there changing the tire. saw a seriously worn out tire and some rubber pieces in the bus bay when i passed by. think it went back to the depot after that, as i saw that bus on 171 in the evening.

According to what you said it appears to be tire blowout. Sigh. SMRT buses most of their bus tires are in poor condition. Each time i ride one i always fear one of the tires could blow up.

TIB570D brokedown @ Bukit Panjang Rd (1st bus stop from CCK Rd) at 10:56 i saw it when i was cycling there.

SBS9038J on 174 breakdown at opposite subordinate courts (upp cross st) at 6.45pm
SBS9116S on 30 breakdown opposite tanglin sec after japanese sec sch (west coast rd)

Yesterday, at 5 pm, this bus cameo-ed SLBP 197 slot, engine turn on 1 minute, stop 1 minute, BC need to press a lot of buttons on bus and turn on and off the bus using key, started 1 minute, off again, everytime bus stop for passengers to alight, engine stops, BC late. Good, breakdown at last.

was on SMB5Y and the aircon was spoilt. though the bus could still move, a pissed looking old man forced the confused china SL to stop the bus and print breakdown tix for everyone, at the bus stop along scotts road after DFS galleria. temperature in the bus was something like 35 degrees when it was about 31 degrees outside.
