All these cover up only lah, at last who knows that it is SMRT and SBS give the route to LTA and LTA announce that it was their's only. The additional bus company would be like CSS which was set up as a buffer only and then been absorbed by either company and later after 10 years singapore SMRT and SBS again. Remember talking for 3rd bus company very long time liao but later up to now still is 2 and the notion started at 1990s. Another note is that that time TIBS set up, also competition, now no competition. Hub and spoke is nothing good, make no long bus ride for joyriding such as 197 and I conceptualize that in the far run(say 2050), MRT would be all around sg and the buses is like bringing passengers to MRT, and bus would be a less important stuff. btw, the entire LTA review is crap, cut transfer rebate but how to implement displacement fare( a button on reader to say end trip???), 3rd company and later 2 company projected return again, and blah blah blah. Hoped that LTA staff would take bus and know what buses really need.
Buses need
1. More buses: Not LTA rule of Euro4 and all BT9L,VSO,Vo3x,Lo3x and etc would be gone by that standard and bus would decrease again and then worry for bus as not enough buses to increase frequency. Buy more not cancel exsisting.
2.More services:Not hub and spoke, what if MRT system breskdown or sg electrical failure, die liao, at least bus still can run as it is independent of electricity. Should had more links bet int/ter/dep
