took 1880 on 151 tdy. the retarder locking in the transmission koyak leow. as a result the bus keep jerking when engaging retarder

Anyway, speaking of MKII, that time I was at Kent Ridge waiting for 95 then so happen the next bus was 1873S... 1 thing I noticed was after BC park the bus to get off within 5 mins the whole bus kena lowered till the height of a "low-floor bus"... the BC got shocked when he came back to see his bus so low as compared to 1880X parking beside it. -

Took 1848R on 82 today. Thing is the bus jerks everytime it changes gear. It's ZF is like stuck or something so during the first gear the engine whines EXTREMELY loud.

Ya but this 1848R I took today it's acceleration quite slow (sounds like it's dying from the engine sounds I heard). First gear: Whineeeeeeee
Second gear: Whole bus jerks, whine disappears and is replaced by a super low frequency sound.

I dont understand why you guys nowadays like to ask for timings, even if its for a short-haul feeder route. When the 238 scanias first went into service someone had the cheek to ask me for the timings of the 2 scanias. if you are in a hurry, dont catch them. Back then when we (the ZYX2005 sv966 TIB1186Z off_service Yusry SBS9816E SBS9818A and tammy etc era) first started out in 2004 there's no such thing as provide timings. Once a cameo was spotted, we used our own calculation and simply camp there and hoping that our calculation is correct. Best case scenario you have is that you have a bus fan onboard the bus that you are catching and that saves you alot from everything. -
