197 should be transferred to bndep in exchange with 81...hgdep and slbp throws whatever it doesnt like onto 197...the 0405s, MKIIIs LO3x and Batch 1s are notorious for being very horrible.
166 service leader isnt persistent enough...quite sad..all they could get is 9889
push for 1 or 2 B9 on SV 60? what difference does it make? So if one B9 transfer to Sv 60 and the PIW must wait for the B9 to come then board it? then how long must he/she wait?
based on your logic, SBST should not buy any SD WAB at all. They should be buying all DD WAB.

Not I am bias, but I thought it was ok. Cos some of the LO3x had went under refurbishing. Do take SBS 9075B, it zoom all the way along AYE. Btw, u mean BC can choose not to drive on this service? Then which svc they drive?

i did not say PIW MUST wait for a WAB DD...but if there is 1 B9TL that comes by it would help to easen the space for more passengers to get onboard and the PIW wun have trouble getting off as there owuldnt be as many passenegrs crowding around it as compared to a K230...1 b9tl compared to 1 K230 can do alot of difference man...every trip it makes counts and it helps to easen the load...if theres 2...the PIWs can board too...if its a VO..the PIWs have to wait and cram inside a K230 with all the passengers if its during the period where demand is high...

i mean like selecting which service to enter when they are Standbys in Jurong East Route Group..they would rather not enter 197 and continue to Standby...so the slots for perm 197 drivers are empty..go ask some of the JE BCs and they woudl tell you...

Really got such thing? I really dunno about it. Cos what I heard before was BNL group standby driving got to do whatever svc the route assistant manager call them to do.

More bendy buses for 187, 963, 966.
If possible, double deckers to run 190 and 960 so that it will not be crowded to the brim of the bus.
966 does not have bendy buses in the first place.
190 and 960 can only have ADDs if they are taken over by SBST.

Oh yes... what difference will it make to have ADDs instead of bendies? ADDs will also be crowded to the brim if the demand is high.

Yes standby u cannot choose..Starter gve u what service u have to drive that service...but WHAT I AM TALK ING... HEAR ME CAREFULLY..IS WHEN A BC FROM STANDBY DRIVING TO ENTERING A ROUTE AS A PERM BC OF THE ROUTE...THEY CAN SELECT WHICH SERVICE THEY WANNA BE PERM ON..ALOT AVOID 197...THATS WHY THE PERM BC SLOTS ON 197 ARE EMPTY COS NO BC WANNA ENTER AND PERM THE SLOT..THEY RATHER STANDBY AS THEY MAY NOT BE ASKED TO DO 197 EVERYDAY...

Ok, I understand wat u mean above but I also mention that the BNL BC cannot choose svcs.
Who say cannot choose, its between you and the starter only....

they can all route groups can..a BC can choose to be perm in what service if there is vacancy..if no vacancy then left with 197..then enter 197..if they dont want enter they can continue to be a standby BC
same principle for boon lay..if left with for example service 30 with vacant slots fro BC to perm in..then that BC can only enter 30 lo..but usually BNL got a lot of service to choose to PERM in...its not everymorning choose what service to drive..they choose by learning the route...if they haven learn 30..they cannot perm 30..standby also cannot standby on service 30..but norm they will have to learn all services first..but they can choose NOT to enter service 30 and enter other service talk to a BC or me personally to find out...
This is due to the BC whether he is familiar a not. Just to say, there are shortage of manpower.
Yesterday's sv 980 was not up to expectations n SMRT really screwed up svc 980 only wif nissans ![]()
, AMDEP nissans were used instead of bendies or rigid Mercs on those 980 usual time slots. It was really a disgrace and I was really pissed of wif the bus arangements. The freq was oso very bad with waiting time >20 mins at times, and only full-to-door rigids came.

It seems like since then service 980 have stopped using bendies for a month, not even a bendy bus being scheduled to do service 980 on Sundays/Public Holidays as it used to be (last time AM/PM04 and AM/PM06 time slots occasionally do have bendies).
What is happening to service 980 all these Sundays??

If I am not mistaken service 63 used to have NAC DDs too (the LAs) before it was converted to FAC in 1998.

The crowd actually ease when the bus reaches Clementi MRT from Soon Lee.
Service 185 just got DDs recently ![]()

It seems like SMRT wants the Indians to celebrate life with SMRT also? =D
On the other hand, Service 700A has 2 bendies (TIB1153T and TIB1154R) quite surprisingly..
