  the one at orchard youth park can't run.

  The bobbie gymbus now painted in yellow , think repainted quite sometime back. Can be found at some Pat's schoolhouse , can't remember where.

  Wrong , the LO2x were actually the last leyland to use Leyland engine , not the LO3x cummins engine

  It uses the leyland fully charged hydraulic type gearbox if im not wrong , and also it uses Leyland TL11 engine

  However, several units were fitted with Allison gearboxes in the later stage of their lifespan

  3554A (bram 28 then 157/refurb) had a Cummins LT11 engine and an Allison gearbox towards the end of its lifespan.

  Do note that this LO2x has been re-registered to YL8508R , so i guess it has new lifespan for it.

  And so thats the YL8508R , it has been painted to yellow colour , think last seen it at Pat's schoolhouse somewhere in Orchard area.

  Yeah , noisy and a bit shaky , sometimes the lower deck can feel the hotness.

  Cummins is not an in house Leyland built engine product. The cummins brand cna be even foound on Dennis buses, let alone Leyland. CUmmins engines can also be found on king loongs or other china made buses that means Cummins is like a common househhold brand for engine products. can fit on any model

   

  Leyland however is "branded". u juz dun go fitting a Lyeland engine on a merc bus do u?

  integrated made buses are best i feel. rather than sourcing the main components from Cummins or East lancs for he doywork....

  in terms of laymen ,

  the Cumminss engine is more rumbling kind of sounds but leyland engines are more smooth feeling and the engine rumbling is more subdued
