For me it is better take bus to KL from JB Larkin than by Air Asia, let me tell you my experience.
From my home to Larkin (non peek days) (plus waiting time) 1 1/2 hour
Buy bus ticket wait for the bus 1/2 hour
Time taken to KL(Inc break) 4 1/2 hour
Kota Raya to my in laws house Cheras BT 9 (plus waiting time) 1 hour
If I take plane
From my home to Larkin (non peek days) (plus waiting time) 2 1/2 hour
Check in before take off 1 hour
Flight to KL & check out 1 hour
From airport to KL by bus 1
Kota Raya to my in laws house Cheras BT 9 (plus waiting time) 1 hour
6.5hr by air, 7.5hr by bus![]()
For me I don’t save much time compare by air also cost much more. The plane is 737 ![]()
This is just one way trip!

My firend did 140km/h without stop to KL, slightly longer 4 hours. He got kenna booked too, but he got away with the excuse that he is a student and does not earn much, and a RM50 note under the license.
Did that at least three times on North South H'way.

wa..seems like this is the season for speeding cameras![]()
Was the cams concentrated around JB-Malacca stretch of NS Highway?Coz last time we drive up to Penang, speed cams was non-existant after passing Malacca.
Speed track often happen on Malaysia highway. They will concentrate up to KL instead.Speen track often happen at:
at 2nd Link Highway towards North-South Highway near Gelang Patah Exit
At North-South Highway
1) Sedenak
2) Yong Peng Utara(Near Lucky Garden Restaurant)
3)Pagoh (Going up the hill)
4)Tangkak
5) Near Seremban on your left (The tallest tower where Traffic Police can snap speed vehicles)
If you take an Express bus to KL or Malacca, some bus drivers will wave their hands to another direction of buses going to JB.However if any bus drivers saw that there's a Speed Track or in Malay is "Tembak" at any location, they will give a signal of shoot on their right hand.Shoot straight is a speed track,Shoot up if far away, shoot down is getting nearer. If any bus dirvers see, they will slow down immidiately.Normally bus drivers knows that this is traffic police favrouite spots and locations to snap speed vehicles from.
