Bus VLS system down, manual updating used only on march 1st

  tat explains the huge mess at hg int today.. was on 27 and trying to enter the interchange was hell.. buses here n there, cant get out, cant get in.

  then when my bus finally got in, it got waved to the front of the alighting bay by oneof those engineers, wearing the orange overalls. guy went up, checked the drivers compartment, where i think is where that gps unit is.. the black box with singtel n sbst logo

   

  some bus checked before alr, den allowed to pass, the rest has to stop

  no wonder it was a royal mess there..

  SINGAPORE: If you had problems scanning your EZ—Link card early Saturday morning, not to worry. The problem is not with the card.

  The Land Transport Authority said a software glitch had disabled the automatic updating of the bus fare stages.

  And drivers had to manually update the stages so that fares could be deducted accordingly.

  LTA said the software glitch had been resolved. Automatic updating of bus fare stages will be fully operational once again by day’s end.

  If I'm not wrong, it struck at the point of midnight

  Those buses still running aft 12am kena also

  After leap year, computer system all go hay-wire

  is that why Iris was DOWN? I was trying to see the timing for last bus and it said, 'not operating now' I thought the last bus left...omg crapie, wasted my money for taxi!

  0000++ at marine parade blk 55 there. trying to get 55 timing... but it says 'not operating now'.

  Before I got onto the cab, saw 1 off service 55 DD...then when I got up to taxi, saw the 55 DD lighted up now...! but check iris again, still saying 'not opearing now'.
