how to PRESERVE bus tickets?

  i wanna collect bus tix but no idea how to protect e font on e tix frm fading. any1 has any idea?

  Just store them in a cool and dark place inside a box with a food desiccant. (all those small packets of Silica gel you get in Vitamin containers, containers containing dried food, chocolates, Chinese New Year food)

  Heh no, I have been on this board since Jan 2004, he (assuming you are saying Scania N113CRB luver and not Scania L113_luver) has been on this board since '05 or '06, and I have met Scania N113CRB_luver before. Have no idea who is Scania L113_luver.

  just put in some airtight container. add silica gels if u need. a little will do. best in sachet form.

  I'm surprised that my SBS7338G tix on 31 hasnt faded since i took it last Dec. I just placed it in a non-airtight box & couple of tix above and below it.

  throw it into a bottle of vinegar and store in cool place for a week.

  at least that's how they make preserved green chillies.

   

  if you don't want to use vinegar

  can use sodium chloride (salt) and some sodium borate as preservative.

  do you mean this bus ticket from a B9TL (those new Wheel Chair bus with black front)?

  

  P.S: this bus ticket has been faded becoz of the ink. the others like this one:

  

  This one the words are not faded becoz this bus ticket and the one on top is not the same...

  Erm, technically wouldn't laminating the ticket (those which uses thermal paper) totally destroy the ticket in the first place? The thermal paper is reactive to heat (which is needed for laminating). The older ink tickets u can just leave it around for years and it still looks alright.
