7198T is SP, though mostly seen on 74 because the VO 3x need to cameo on other FAC services.
7241B perm 93, replaces 1877G

When you let off the air inside the system, theres nothing to hold the spring back, hence the spring forms as a brake as the springs pushes the brake pads against the drum brake/disc brakes. Whether you release air for parking brake or if theres a leak in the system, the springs will always act as a secondary safety device.
Yes, you are right. That was what I was trying to say. I didn't mention how exactly the high air pressure transmits its energy to release the brakes in my earlier post.![]()
I want to ask or maybe this question is answered...
Since when did 185 had DDs being deployed?

I think most of the time, the Volvo Olympian 3x on service 74 doing cameo on service 191/9.That's why i see SBS 7198 T frequency appearing on 74. Also SBS 7226 X is a perm on 74 back is it replacing SBS 7241 B? But the SP sticker is still there...

should be from 24 march or 31 march? it was edited by service_238, so the info should be correct. just like last time, the info of DD on Sv 5 as well.

But it doesn't help much because the buses still late in the morning.

yes one only. the only BC's DD license is pending approval and his bus is being maintained. the other S Shift slot is replaced by a Standby for now till a BC enters 185 doing S Shift. But 185 timesheet shows a serious lack of time esp for the last trip up to SLBP.
The spare bus are back to Service 185.
Today,
SBS 527P (SL SP) <-- got the perm sticker
SBS 276Y (SL ?? ) <-- I would like to ask svc 238 whether this bus is really SP cos I saw the SP sticker on SBS 3858Z instead. SBS 3858Z is on Svc 105 today.

3858 is still perm. 276 should be the one going spare. ytd 276 replaces 9019. 9019 will only be deployed later. use 9003 to test out first.
the only thing is 185 has a shortage of time.

SBS 3858Z got the new SP sticker leh. Do u see SBS 276Y having it?
Board SBS 9003J today. This young driver was the perm driver for service 185? He is good, chiong all the way. Really had performed the advantage of LO3x. Actually i think Svc 185 only get crowded at Jurong West/Jurong East. Somehow indirectly help svc 99 to clear the crowd. They should put the DD on 18.37 slot from BNV, that slot seems to have more passengers taking this service.

1a. Direction 2, Aircon. N is non-aircon The old format in the early 90s was A2 for Direction 2 Aircon and -2 for Direction 2 Non-aircon.
1b. Ticket Serial Number
I just happened to see SBS 2761A in the news (while it's bearing it's old livery). Was it involved in an accident on Service 14 before?

It crashed at the junction of Tiong Bahru Rd and Lower Delta Rd somewhere in 2003 or 2004. This happened a few weeks after it went from slbp 157 (was perm for 2 weeks) to bbdep. It wore the blue colored Fight Myopia ad then.
buses of which services go back to depot for refuelling in the day?
thank you in advance.
