3) Is there going to be another mass white wheel painting for the SMRT Bus fleet in the coming months? At least got 4 buses with white rims le....
4) The WAB buses have a button for the PIW to press right....the buttons can light up isit? and it seems like when the suspension of the bus is adjusted then it will light up isit?
5) Will SMRT fix the EDSes of some bus when they are unreadable?
Add on.....
6) Hino HS3KRKA/KRKK: EEC 2403
a) What's the difference between KRKA and KRKK?
b) EEC 2403 is Euro II in western terms?
Why service 181 consider trunk whereby the route is within Jurong West and the route is short.
Also, 181 should be feeder and not trunk. ![]()

Anyone know/seen the new black ad on a unidentified LO3x on svc 174? anyone know the rego? thanks!
Qn been bugging me: Do other svcs 1st,2nd, 3rd bus do nite x-over to other svcs before they return to depot so that they will be able to leave depot 1st and not get stuck? Eg this evening, SBS911Y on sv10, SBS9242K on sv12, SBS2706K on sv518

1. Not usable in revenue service, most probably after accident or towards end of lifespan.
2. They are decommised from service and the LTA database would have their rego removed, thus they are not allowed to ply on roads, thus it had to be towed.
5. They will....after damm jialat....with LAWO eds
I dunnoe whether is my answer correct, but i tried my best

It is releative high demand and many pax wanna take it and as such sbst wanna earn $$$ therefore make trunk. However, when you take less than 5 stages, it is feeder rate. Service 859 is also the same case, if you take within Sembawang or Yishun, it would be feeder rate but once you cross the town limits, normal rate applies

i understand your question but not your example.
The SBST NightOwls do a supplementary trip on a trunk service before doing their respective NighOwls.

Let me rephrase: eg [SBS2706K]sv36 starts its normal daily run till evening then return to BN. refill then start again as sv518 so that when its run ends, it's among the last few buses to arrive at depot to facilitate easy maneuver out of BN the next morning for its morning shift
would it be likely dad sv 185,xpr 502,JIS 252 will terminate at the coming future joo koon term ?

ok let's say if 2706K is on the split shift on 36 that doesnt jump bus, then the daytime operations is as per normal. The other case is that 2706K went back to depot because there's not enough P shift drivers for 36 and hence someone did the 5.5h OT shift.
The reason why it started as 518 is because one of the 518 buses broke down and a replacement bus is needed. Since 2706K just returned to depot the starter or the driver himself may conveniently use the bus as his replacement bus. This is currently the only reason for a bus to hop to another service under these circumstances.
Another case is ad-hoc crossover at the interchange because a bus is out of service due to accident/breakdown. There was once the 238 split shift indian driver did 90 using his perm bus 3693G because there's either (i) not enough drivers doing PM S shift for 90 or (ii) one of the S90 buses broke down.
The other ad-hoc xover at interchange is when the driver change buses. say 3614K was doing P shift on S90 and broke down, driver swap with S238 3693G as 3693G is going to end shift and return to depot. So instead of 3614K driver going back to depot to change bus, he can just change with an S shift that is going back to the depot. Saves time though service disruption is inevitable.
I hope you get what I mean.
I need timings for three such buses for National Day so that I can work out the best way to catch all three together. Does anyone have the morning timings departing from Hougang or Sengkang side for these buses?
SBS 2696E (80 HGDEP)
SBS 2779A (107M HGDEP)
SBS 2837R (151 BBDEP)
Another question which I am quite curious about. Which is the event that have caused the most number of services to date to be diverted simultaneously?

You can try catching 151 on the 151/200 xover timings. If it is on either of the 2 xover duties, they will depart Hougang at 0917hrs (1), 0927hrs (2), 1204hrs (1), 1320hrs (2), 1416hrs (1). (1) denotes 11T, (2) denotes 12T. 12T xover to 200 at around 11am. 11T xover at 6pm.
No guarantee that it WILL appear on saturday. These timings serve as a guide. Who knows it may be on full day timing as well.
just saw 2779A early this morning around 0630 at Beach Rd plying 107, heading back to HG

Bro, thanks for the reply, but i c the same thing happening for HG DEP buses also... after peak hrs, buses x-over to other services after they come out of depot till 2nd shift ends... [there is no bus break down], eg SBS9541Y[7th bus from Punggol] after its shift return to HG, out comes to sv62 is SBS2836T[wic is 1st bus for sv82 in the morning] so that it can leave HG in the morning w/o being stuck[smethin like tt]
