one more qn:
i boarded 8149 on 27 today (check rides thread) and found a box fitted on the right side wheel arch, on the inside of the bus. the box appears to have two keyholes to lock up, and trying to pry it open failed, therefore i come to the conclusion its locked. may i know the purpose of this box? sorry no pic cos bus crowded.

i see.. ok. lol. din purposely pry it la, juz wanted to see if its open or not. heh. didnt get to see anything.. but maybe its a hard disk recorder for the camera. but if its a hard dsk, wun it get damaged while running and the bus vibrate, go over bumps, and such? the hdd platers might get scrathed.

if I'm not wrong, it should be the MDR or something like that, it can also be found inside scdf fleet of emergency ambulances (older models are exposed whereas the latest models are concealed)

I need to find out what's MDR stands for & will get back to you again on that..rest assured that whatever recording equipment is inside there, it'll be very well protected by some form of metal casing (my guess is black in colour)..
I have recently seen CB 4219P once again. The bus has been repainted to a new purple colour livery. Does anyone knows what company this bus now falls under, or is it still under Lingo Star Transport Services?
I also need to find out which company the private bus PZ 0933G falls under. Thanks.

Its perm replacing 46U. 2733G left S17 because of K230.
2733G went to S17 from S197 swap with 2615P.
it appeared on S197 under bndep as S147 had fleet reduction hence 2733G left hgdep 147 and went along with 197 from hgdep to bndep.
erm want me to continue?

In between Bukit Merah & Boon Lay sits BBDEP. So they chose it to be full BB, easier to off service back to depot.
