Service 163 used to have SBS3572Y if I am not mistaken, followed by OF1417 Hawkes. After which they were redeployed to NAC MB0405s. Think SBS3572Y left service 163 when the route got shortened and amended to Toa Payoh in 1993.
Those regos which I remembered so far were like SBS3744T, SBS3784C, SBS3870L, SBS3887P, SBS3890D, SBS3906T, SBS3908M, SBS3919G. Used to take them during my secondary school days.
Can ask if Scaina N113 CRB ( de-registered) KUBS will replace Svc with Perm Scania N113 CRB or Volvo Mk 3 and Volvo Mk 4 replace them?

last time got plenty of feeder services using LAs rite? e.g 228, 335,359
Then how come when these buses get deregistered, these services do not hav any more DDs deployed on them? SBST got too little DDs to spare 4 them?
Can i ask y 3573 to 3587 ( Scania N113) get deleted from sgwiki?

Think most probably SBST wanted to deploy NAC DDs just to maintain its NAC/PAC status that's all. Same for service 90 which used LO2x in the past but no AC DDs till now. Service 359 used NAC Scania N113CRBs instead.
Feeder service 335 used LO2x, together with some other feeders and short hauls in Jurong East / Boon Lay areas. After the LO2x were phased out, the MB0405s were mainly deployed. Only feeder 242 had LO3x, followed by feeder 243. JIS services only had VO2x as SBST wanted to maintain NAC status for those services.
Don't remember feeder 228 use and DDs before. Anyway feeders 228 and 385 merged to become service 60, and this service currently have AC DDs and Scania K230UBs.
Add on for feeder service 410 too, it used to have NAC DDs too, and once in 2005 a VSO cameoed before. However no more DDs on feeder 410 ever since then.

Scania K230UBs have already directly replaced some Scania N113CRBs on services 3, 5, 17, 39, 69 etc. And also 30+ Volvo MK3/MK4s which were also sent out too from service 36, 291, 293. Think those SP Volvos in BNDEP will land to those services that are not fated to get any Scania K230UBs.

LO2x got phased out? I thought that's LA?

Yes, they were all phased out in end 2003. They are the NAC DDs with those black window frames. The LAs and the MB0305 DDs were phased out earlier in 2000-2001.
The only NAC DDs left are the VO2x, it can be found mainly in Boon Lay Int doing JIS routes.

I think you have mix up with 226 instead. It was 226 and 385 merged to become the current Svc 60 , Svc 228 does use NAC DD , which is the LA's..

385 used to have MBO305s for a period and initially when 226 and 385 merged to become 60, there was no DDs for a short period of time before AC DDs came in.

Why not? Some may be those from current buses which were damaged and repaired.

yeah sure. its because all new readers follow the SBST livery. make it blend in with the corporate livery
Originally posted by lifelikedrama:Oh... and S74 also got a handful of VO2x.
As long as they serve NP (Sv 74, 154), NTU (179), Jurong Ind Est (182, 192, 193, 246, 249, 251, 252, 254, 255, 257) & Sv 93 they would use non a/c double decks
