1183G is part of 901's fleet. Its 1025E which is out as SP. 1178Y should be a 169 S-Shift permer still .. ....
After the schedule revision for S52, I realised there is one bus (Duty: 6A) from SLBP that arrives at Bishan @ 6am in the morning...
Wonder why the sudden change lol. Anyone care to explain what's behind this?

he does 2nd last bus from Bishan and evens out the payhour due to the change shift timing. 18A is the only amdep bus that starts from Jurong East - also the 2nd last bus but from Jurong East and also the change shift timing.

OK
Since 18A starts @ JEI and ends at BSI, while 6A starts at BSI and ends at JEI..
Is that half a round trip more or less?

1A-5A: 3 trips
6A: 2.5 trips (if under amdep its 3 trips)
7P, 9P-11P: 2.5 trips
8P: 3 trips
12P: 3 trips (if under amdep its 2.5 trips)
13S: 1.5 + 1 trip with AM meal break
14A-17A: 3 trips
18A: 2.5 trips (if under slbp its 2 trips = no OT)
19P: 3 trips
20P-22P: 2.5 trips
23P: 3 trips (if under slbp its 3.5 trips = super OT)
24S: 2 + 1 trip with AM meal break
The swap was probably made to reduce the OT for slbp side.
May i know when did TIBS sold their DAF SB220LT with Hispano bodywork? In which year were they registered? Any difference with the current DAF in SMRT fleet?

Sold to New Zealand in 2005 , they were registered in 1990. The different between both of them is that one of them having Hispano bodywork and the current ones in SMRT is bodied by Alexander Setanta. Also , the first TIBS model to use EDS back then.

OK, thanks. The Hispano bodied O405 also registered in 1990?

No. If my knowledge is correct, the first ones came in 1994. Initially, there were two of them on route 169 for demonstration purposes. Subsequently, hundreds more (not sure how many) were brought in, a number of them non-airconditioned (but two of them had underfloor air-conditioning installed but presumably not used when doing non-air-conditioned route work); all are now converted to air-conditioned buses. The original ones were also the third bus model in then-Trans Island's fleet to receive flip-dot matrix LED display, after the aforementioned DAF SB220 and Nissan Diesel U31RCN.

yep. the two CACs with underfloor aircon are TIB741C (855 AMDEP) and TIB779U (854 AMDEP). however, EDS for OAC merc and CAC merc are of different brand. OAC uses LLE and CAC uses Hanover.
which bus svcs can i easily find a SMRT
1. Dennis Lance (other than 980)
2. Hino?
Better if got per.

I always had this two questions regarding the DAF buses in SMRT.
1) Why did then TIBS sell the DAFs? Seems like haven't finish the lifespan if i'm not wrong =\
2) According to pictures, the Hispano DAFs didn't have a bulge in the front, presumably the radiator wasn't in front?
Plus one more - anyone have the pic of the first B10M in SBS? The one with Van Hool bodywork or something.

1) Actually TIBS using them until 1998 before all of them transferred to CSS until 2005
2) Yeah , becos Hispano
And the first SBS B10M you mention is the SBS9C , think pictures can be found somewhere in fotopic etc..
I thought service 115 had been remove?

the mp opposed the withdrawal so its here to stay =D

SBST had scrapped the idea of the withdrawal
but 115 route very short..
so it should just scrap off... ![]()

maybe the citizens along the route still wants the route and reflected the problem to the MP, and the MP forwards the citizens' request to SBST and SBST decided to scrap the idea of withdrawing. quite complicated actually...

Then withdraw sv284/354 also. Thx.

There's no service from kovan to Hg ave 3 at all. There used to be sv151/51 to from hg ave 3 to kovan. Of cause the citizens want the route lar. If not walk to hg ave 1 to take sv113 for 2 stops to kovan? Might as well go on foot.

- They were trying to scale down the CSS operations at that point of time. Thus, they had to find some ways to cut the fleet which is by selling them.
- The Radiator was infront of the bus.
